January 5 to 9, 2004
Jason watched as Alcazar kissed Carly, and then later locked him in a panic room. A scorpion bit Sam, and Sonny nursed her back to health. Jax found a scantily clad Sam in Sonny's arms. Courtney confronted Jason about his plan to kill Alcazar. Brian and Ric plotted to destroy Sonny and Jason. Courtney agreed to go on a date with Brian. Jason told Courtney she is free to see other people. Zander assured Elizabeth and Ric he would sign away his parental rights. Nikolas and Emily read Blackthorn the pirates' journal, and deduced the treasure's location. Sam set fire to the treasure map. Ric framed Nikolas for murder. Maxie and Georgie fabricated a boyfriend for Georgie. Jax locked Tracy in a closet to prevent her from following him to Azure Key.
January 12 to 16, 2004
In the panic room, Carly and Alcazar shared a passionate kiss, when she returned later she learned he had been moved to a new location. Carly begged Cameron to have her committed to Shadybrook Sanitarium where she was drugged twice. Jason caught Carly in a lie. Courtney grew suspicious of Brian. Sam went off to pursue the treasure and she and Jax were trapped in the pirate's lair. Georgie's lie about having a boyfriend hurt Dillon. Zander pressed assault charges against Nikolas. After reading Blackthorn's journal, Emily fantasized about shooting Zander.
January 19 to 23, 2004
Sonny removed a bullet from Jax's arm. Alcazar took Carly to his safe house. Sonny saw Carly and Alcazar exchange a kiss. Sonny walked out on Carly. Sam found a ring with Black Thorn's crest. Sam made a secret pact with Helena. Jason had Faith committed to Ferncliff. Faith ordered Zander to kill Sonny and Jason. Sage arranged for Georgie and her imaginary boyfriend, Tom, to be crowned king and queen of the winter formal. Georgie and Maxie planned to hire a model to pose as Tom. Ric admitted to Elizabeth he helped frame Nikolas for murder. Nikolas was cleared of all charges in Cody's murder. Faith pulled Justus into a kiss.
January 26 to 30, 2004
Carly turned to Alcazar after finding Sonny and Sam in bed together. Sonny slammed the door in Carly's face when she came to the penthouse to get Michael and Morgan. Alcazar promised Carly he would get her children back. Carly warned Sam that Sonny was using her as a substitute for Brenda. Zander asked Maxie for her help when he feared for his life. Zander held Nikolas at gunpoint. Guy agreed to help Georgie find the real Tom. Luke held Helena hostage in an empty cell.

FEBRUARY 2004
February 2 to 6, 2004
Sonny and Carly argued about the kids. Michael took Morgan and snuck off to see Carly. Carly presents Sonny with a document that gave her temporary custody of the kids. Luke tricked Helena into taking him to the treasure on Spoon Island. Zander made it into the boiler room at the Port Charles Hotel without being seen, then Nikolas locked him inside. Tracy feared Edward would give ELQ to Skye. An electrician warned Edward that the hotel's overloaded circuits could cause a fire. Sam prepared to steal the treasure and Luke agreed to be her partner in the crime. Sage and Dillon made plans to get a hotel room. Ric accused Brian of covering for the real shooter. Brian told Courtney he was in love with her. As a fire broke out in the hotel and began to spread: Georgie and Tom checked into their hotel room, Alexis and Carly were trapped in an elevator, and Sonny and Alcazar fought in a stairwell.
February 9 to 13, 2004
The fire continued to spread: Skye and Faith dragged Luke to safety. Courtney ran back into the fire to save a dog. Alcazar was trapped under a fallen beam. Edward admitted he knew about the hotel's faulty system after the electrician died at his feet. Helena arranged for Emily to bleed to death. Sonny was injured by a collapsed roof. A hooded man shot Brian, then attempted to shoot Jason. A firefighter hid the stolen treasure in a trash receptacle. Jax and Sam used a rope to ascend from the penthouse to another floor of the hotel. Sonny and Carly fell through a hole. Capelli handcuffed Jason to a railing in the stairwell.
February 16 to 20, 2004
Sonny, Carly and Alcazar escaped from the crumbling Port Charles Hotel. Nikolas freed Jason who had been handcuffed to a rail by Capelli. Jason managed to flee the burning building, but Nikolas was trapped inside and presumed dead. Edward suffered a heart attack. Bobbie told Luke that Scott died in the blaze. Scott however is alive. Dillon helped Georgie work up the courage to see a badly burned Mac. Helena vowed revenge against the Qs. Carly moved in with Alcazar. Jax promised Sam he wouldn't tell Sonny they had sex. Brian died. Courtney told Jason they are over for good. Courtney received a huge reward for rescuing Louise in the fire. Carly blackmailed Alexis into helping her keep her children.
February 23 to 27, 2004
Alexis ordered Carly to end her association with Alcazar. Justus warned Sonny to terminate his affair with Sam. Justus was ordered to make Carly look like an unfit mother. Sam was stuck in an elevator with Emily. Courtney was asked to testify on Carly's behalf. Carly tried to blackmail Jason into testifying for her. Jason believed Sonny was spinning out of control. Jason learned Courtney was the pier's new owner. Luke showed Elizabeth and Ric a videotape he had received from Scott. Luke found Skye, drunk, at the Haunted Star. Elizabeth and Ric saw the first sonogram of the baby. Nikolas refused to plead guilty to manslaughter. Alcazar offered up his illegal business operations to Faith. Georgie saw through Tracy's phony concerns for Mac.

MARCH 2004
March 1 to 5, 2004
Tracy convinced Dillon not to tell Georgie the truth about Edward faking his insanity. Tracy suggested that Sage try to seduce Dillon. Tom expressed real interest in Georgie. The custody hearing for Michael and Morgan began. Michael told Jason he wanted to live with him and Courtney. Sonny attacked Faith in the courtroom. Ric testified on Sonny's behalf. Lucky accused Ric of having inside information regarding Zander's death. Emily suggested that Ric killed Zander as a way to prevent Zander from ever claiming paternity of Elizabeth's baby. Carly refused Jax's offer to testify that Sonny is abusive toward women. Emily received a letter from Zander saying Nikolas killed him. A report cleared the Quartermaines of liability for the fire. Felicia returned to care for her daughters.
March 8 to 12, 2004
Carly admitted to Jason that she still loves Sonny. Carly accused Alexis of holding a grudge against Sonny. Carly accepted Sonny's invitation to visit Morgan. Sonny's limousine skids off the road. Alexis exposed Sam's unsavory past on the witness stand. Alcazar took the stand. Alexis asked Sonny if he is emotionally unstable. Alexis and Justus deliver their closing arguments. Maxie made a confession at Mac's bedside. Mac went missing from his hospital bed. Luke managed to spring Edward from Shadybrook. Tracy and Edward fought for control of ELQ, and Dillon holds the deciding vote. Lucky filed a missing persons report.
March 15 to 19, 2004
Zander mourned for his father, Cameron, at his gravesite and apologized for starting the fire that killed him. Zander vowed to name the baby Elizabeth is carrying after his father and to make sure the child would know what a good man his grandfather was. Mac is returned to Felicia and the girls after being found at Mercy hospital as a John Doe. Alcazar revealed to Carly that he is blind. Courtney was horrified to learn Carly invited Alcazar to live with her. Tracy and Edward competed for Dillon's deciding vote for ELQ. Michael and Sonny shared a tearful goodbye. A stabbed Sam collapsed on Sonny's doorstep. Carly was troubled to discover Sonny comforting Sam. Jason threatened Faith, wanting information about who she hired to plant the bomb in Sonny's car. Sonny asked Jason to protect Sam with his life since the person who planted the bomb is after her. A very much alive Zander revealed himself to a shocked Emily.
March 22 to 26, 2004
Emily gave in to Zander's demand. Ric was accused of ordering the police to kill Zander. Nikolas crashed his vehicle while racing to the cottage. Emily refused to believe Nikolas drowned in the river. Sonny made arrangements to take Sam to his Island. Sam admitted to Jason that she loves Sonny. Sam caught a glimpse of the assassin. Carly was alarmed by Morgan's fever, and later discovered he has Scarlet fever. Tracy and Edward pressured Dillon to deliver his vote.
March 29 to April 2, 2004
Luke prevented the assassin from discovering Sam's hiding spot. Alcazar urged Carly to cut Sonny out of the boys' lives. Carly and the boys hid when the assassin broke into the house. Carly witnessed Alcazar meeting with the assassin. Courtney caught Jason and Sam in a compromising position. Courtney and Jason received their divorce papers. Ric obtained a search warrant for Sonny's penthouse. Nikolas questioned Mary about the past. Emily's search for Nikolas led her to Mary's doorstep. Skye arranged for Faith to be arrested for money laundering. Skye accused Luke of running away from his feelings for her. Sage took a picture of Georgie disrobing in the locker room. Edward wanted to draft a new will.

APRIL 2004
April 5 to 9, 2004
Samantha agreed to stay at the penthouse. Nikolas caught Mary in a lie about Elizabeth's scarf. Nikolas began settling into his life as Connor. Mary bumped into Emily. Dillon saw nude photographs of Georgie on the hospital computer. Tracy blackmailed Dillon into giving her his vote, after which he severed ties with the family and moved out of the mansion. Georgie convinced Dillon to hide out at her house. Carly held Alcazar hostage in her basement and tried to convince him to go back to South America. Alcazar knocked himself unconscious as the basement began to flood. Mike advised Courtney not to divorce Jason. Skye learned she had been cut out of Edward's will.
April 12 to 16, 2004
A drunken Skye woke up next to Ross' dead body. Courtney saved Alcazar from drowning. Jason prepared to shoot Alcazar just as he was knocked unconscious by Courtney. Dillon and Georgie confessed their love for one another. Mike urged Jason not to turn his back on Courtney. Sonny forced Mike to choose between him and Courtney. Carly was surprised when Courtney suggested they go into business together. Carly threatened to cut off Sonny's contact with Michael and Morgan. Michael planned to fake his own kidnapping to get Sonny and Carly back together. Emily and Lucky decided to hold a memorial service for Nikolas. Mary became nervous when Nikolas had a flash of his past. Emily and Nikolas narrowly missed each other at the church.
April 19 to 23, 2004
After finding the "ransom note" and contacting Courtney and Sonny, Carly is overjoyed when Michael is found and rescued from the well by Alcazar and Jason but Michael's injuries, sustained after his failed attempt to reunite his parents, worsen and by the end of the week he undergoes emergency surgery. Emily's memorial service is interrupted by Helena, who vows revenge, until Luke stops her and tells her that she can either leave or he'll be glad to help her leave. Skye and Luke try to hide Ross' corpse from everyone by hiding it in the Quartermaine boathouse and then the freezer, unbeknownst to them that Tracy knows about a dead Ross and wonder whether or not Faith had something to do with his death. Rick finds out that Sonny is Kristina's father and positions himself to prosecute a case that Alexis is defending. Mac and Felicia forbid Georgie from seeing Dillon, but that doesn't stop her from having a secret meeting with him on the Haunted Star. Mary strikes up a friendship of common bond with Emily and then works overtime to make sure that Nikolas is not seen by anyone who might recognize him. Ned announces that he is planning on reviving L&B and intends to put his younger brother to work. Could Sam be with child? Sam purchased a home pregnancy test.
April 26 to 30, 2004
Mary and Nikolas made love and Nikolas was spotted at the church by a praying Alcazar. Sam's pregnancy test turns out positive and while she is at the clinic she is seen by Emily who finds out about the pregnancy and tells Jason. Carly decides to move back into the penthouse with Sonny but says she will sleep in the guest room. Sonny maintains that he will still continue to see Sam. While Skye and Luke try to figure out who killed Ross, Tracy is hot on their tail and blackmails Jax into saying he will marry her because of it. Dillon asks Georgie to help him with the music video project. When they meet the new talent, Ashley B, she and Dillon have a severe difference in opinions. Courtney is informed by Ric that if Alcazar uses the docks to move product through Port Charles, she could be charged as an accessory because she knew Alcazar was a suspected drug lord.

MAY 2004
May 3 to 7, 2004
Luke, Skye, Tracy and Coleman wonder who moved Ross' body. Lucky informs Luke and Skye that Laura has vanished from her room in the institution as a blonde woman seems to be stalking an unaware Skye around Port Charles. Emily tells Jason that Sam is pregnant and he confronts Sam and tells her if she doesn't tell Sonny, he will. Sonny and Carly decide that their marriage is not based on sex or even friendship, but just for co-parenting and they inform others of this so that there are no confusions as Sonny continues to see Sam. At Tracy and Jax's engagement party Mary admits to Alcazar that she knows that "Connor" is Nikolas and that she is knowingly deceiving Emily and Nikolas. When Emily knocks over her purse and Jax finds the prenatal vitamins that Emily is supposed to deliver to Sam, Jax asks if Sam has had a paternity test and then goes to confront Sam and ask her if he could be the father. Later, Emily falls asleep on a pew at the church and "Connor" sees her as he is picking up his payment for working at the church. Mac and Felicia walk in to find Georgie and Dillon together.
May 10 to 14, 2004
Sonny tracks Sam to South America and sends Jason after her but ends up going there to confront her anyway. After Sonny leaves, Carly contemplates leaving him for good. Jax goes to South America after learning Sam's whereabouts from Carly and he informs Sam and Sonny that he has a court order for a paternity test. Emily sees Nikolas on the side of the road and crashes her car. Mary calls Jason to pick Emily up after Nikolas brings her back to the cottage, but before Jason leaves he spots Alcazar's business card. Later, Emily tells Mary that Alcazar is not someone to be mixed up with. Alexis questions Ned at Faith's trial. Ric brings in Sonny as a surprise witness and gets him to admit that he and Alexis have had sex in the past. Dillon and Georgie inform Sage that they are onto her antics. Jax agrees to be Courtney's "clean" backer and they later share a tender moment with Morgan. Luke and Skye admit their feelings to each other. Luke begins to believe that the mystery woman is Laura. Alcazar discovers why Sam is in South America and tells a surprised Carly.
May 17 to 21, 2004
After an attempt by Carly to change the Sam's baby's paternity results, Jason changes the results to show that neither Jax nor Sonny is the father but he later tells Sonny that Sonny is truly the father and Jason claims that he was just trying to protect Sonny's family after Carly announced that if the baby was Sonny's she was going to leave him for good. Dillon's dreams of becoming a director when Georgie orchestrates a plan on Sage that backfires when Sage's voice is compromise and Alcazar threatens Ned and L&B with a lawsuit. Mary announces to "Connor" that it is their anniversary and "Connor" later proposes and gives Mary an engagement ring. Skye is locked in one of Wyndemere's towers by the blonde woman and later knocks Helena over the head and calls Luke to tell him that she has "found" the person who is behind "Laura's" escape from the institution. Alexis and Ric go head to head over Courtney's foundation after Ric makes it clear that he is going to be watching to see if it's a front for Sonny. After bonding over "losing" Jax's baby, he and Courtney bond and he convinces her to go to Monte Carlo with him. "Connor" is shot by Emily after breaking into the Quartermaine Mansion. Finally, Forensics finds Ross' blood in Skye's house. Ric believes Skye killed him, but Luke says that he did.
May 24 to 28, 2004
Lorenzo arrives with a doctor at Mary's house to tend to a wounded Nikolas. Emily later confesses to Mary that she shot the intruder (Nikolas). Jax tells Courtney that instead of giving her half of his winnings in Monte Carlo, he will bet her 10 million dollars if she doesn't sleep with him within three months and Courtney, thinking she can hold of his advances, accepts the bet. Sam tells Carly that Jason is her baby's father and Jason tells Courtney that he is the father of Sam's baby. Sam decides to accept Jason's marriage proposal of sorts for the sake of the baby. Due to DNA evidence, Laura becomes the number 1 suspect in Ross Duncan's murder, but the focus shifts to Skye when Tracy gives Ric the pictures she took of Skye with Ross' corpse. Skye and Luke devise a plan to help Luke break out of jail after he is denied bail. Carly goes to The Cellar and tells Faith that Faith has no claim on the Cellar because her claims "have about as much substance" as Faith does and Carly regains ownership of the Cellar. Skye asks Emily to help occupy Lucky so that he does not become more involved in Luke's legal troubles or the manhunt for Laura. Emily takes Lucky to go on a trip to Los Rocas that Nikolas planned before he died. Mary and "Connor" use Lorenzo's private jet to go to Mexico so that "Connor" can recuperate after being shot. Georgie and Dillon set out to discover who the mystery voice that Dillon heard happens to be.
May 31 to June 4, 2004
Dillon met a mystery girl named "Lynn." Dillon realized that he had a lot in common with Lynn, so he introduced her to Georgie and helped Lynn get a job and a place to live at Kelly's. Sage decided to return to L&B but told Ned that she did not want Georgie anywhere near the project. Lucky and Emily were unaware that the "Bishops" were in the hotel room next to theirs. Later, Lucky and Emily stumbled upon the Bishop wedding. Lucky and Emily shared a kiss before Lucky was called back to Port Charles. Emily was shocked when Nikolas walked up to her and introduced himself as "Connor." Sonny told Sam and Jason that he was against their marriage. Sonny's displeasure was apparent when Sam and Jason showed up at the fundraiser for Courtney's foundation. Ric asked Alexis to have a drink with him. Alexis became drunk and was left to wonder the next morning exactly what had happened the night before.

June 7 to 11, 2004
Sam left Jason at the altar and fled town. Emily convinced Connor to try hypnotherapy. Ned's thoughts were on his ex-wife when she showed up at the Quartermaine mansion. Lynn admitted to Georgie and Dillon that she was a runaway and that the cop who had been following her had probably been sent by her mother to take her back. Skye's trial date was set. Ric offered Alexis and Skye a deal that they both rejected. Jax whisked Courtney away to Italy.
June 14 to 18, 2004
Carly saved Sonny's life by performing CPR. Though Nikolas and Emily, Nikolas decided that he didn't want to pursue efforts to regain his memory. Mary attempted to commit suicide by jumping into a river. Lois and Ned were at odds over Brook Lynn and her behavior. Elizabeth returned to Port Charles - with her son, Cameron.
June 21 to 25, 2004
Skye, Lucky, Jax and Tracy testify at Skye's murder trial. Connor decides to resume working for Alcazar which upsets Mary. Lucky and Emily share kisses at the park. Nico, Sam's ex, is working for Faith but seems to have his own personal agenda to make Sam pay for whatever he feels she did to him. Carly is by Sonny's side as he recovers from his gunshot wound. Courtney and Jax seem to be getting closer to each other. Lois meets Courtney who informs Lois that she (Courtney) is Sonny's little sister and Carly's best friend. Lois meets with Lorenzo to discuss financial backing for L&B. She also discusses this with Jax later.
June 28 to July 2, 2004
Jason kills Nico. Skye is sentenced to 20 years in prison after a guilty verdict. Nikolas has flashbacks of Emily and asks Lorenzo to investigate his past. Heather Webber returned to town. Carly hires Felicia to investigate Sam's past. Ric and Alexis share a kiss while stuck in an elevator .Emily tells Elizabeth that Nikolas is alive.

Jason and Carly uncover Sam's secret in Bailey's Beach. "Connor" discovers that he is Nikolas Cassadine. Heather offers to help Lesley take care of Lulu as she (Lesley) recovers from her hospital stay. Dillon and Georgie talk about wanting to have sex with each other. Jax and Courtney go camping. Lucas comes back into town from boarding school. Elizabeth tries to explain Lucky's romantic feelings toward Emily to Emily.
July 12 to 16, 2004
Courtney refuses to accept Jax's check. Sam continues to hide her secret from Jason. Dillon orders pills for erectile dysfunction. The town is shocked to its core when Lila Quartermaine passes away in her sleep. Robin Scorpio, Amanda Barrington, Lee and Gail Baldwin, Lucy Coe and Kevin Collins return for Lila's memorial service.
July 19 to 23, 2004
Sam confessed her secret to Jason and later introduced him to her mentally challenged brother, Danny. Sonny and Carly agreed to give their relationship another chance. Carly informed Alexis that she planned to tell Sonny that Kristina is his daughter. Jax and Courtney both admitted that their friendship was becoming more than just that. Georgie told Dillon that they should just be friends. Heather fantasized about marrying -- and killing -- Edward. Sam was arrested and Alexis agreed to represent her.
July 26 to 30, 2004
Lois entered the teens into a girl band competition. An inmate on death row in Texas confessed to murdering Sam's mother. Nikolas pushed Emily and Lucky further away. Lila left a challenge in her will. Heather and Edward shared a kiss. Sonny and Carly made love. Faith convinces Alcazar to help her get out of the country.

AUGUST 2004
August 2 to 6, 2004
Ric found out the true story of what had happened to Sam and Danny's mother. Lorenzo set Sonny and Jason up by using Faith. Helena arranged to have Nikolas committed, but Lucky and Emily helped hide him. Elizabeth pondered becoming a nurse. Courtney and Jax were at odds over her loyalty to Jason. Edward mourned Lila on their anniversary. The Quartermaines continued to compete for the inheritance laid out in Lila's will. Dillon dressed in drag for an all-girl band competition.
August 9 to 13, 2004
Helena has Nikolas committed to Shadybrook. Faith escapes from Lorenzo's yacht and has it blown up. Ned is eliminated from the competition for Lila's will. Felicia admits that she's the judge for the contest. Courtney admits her feelings for Jax. Dillon and Georgie broke up. Justus agrees to represent Faith and resigns as Sonny's attorney. Carly wants Jason to regret lying to her. Carly wants to know more about her biological father.
August 16 to 20, 2004
Faith escapes from the hospital and ends up telling Justus that she still loves him. Helena is trying to keep Nikolas and Emily apart and continue her attempt at brainwashing Nikolas into the person she wants him to be. Carly gains support from Sonny in her search for her biological father; Jason tries to talk her out of it. Jason and Courtney mourn the loss of their baby, in their own ways, on the anniversary of Courtney's miscarriage. Tracy continues trying to get the other members of her family disqualified from the contest for Lila's inheritance. After a bad experience in babysitting Morgan, Sam is convinced that she will not be a good mother. The teens are holding a séance and are convinced that one of them are going to die.
August 23 to 27, 2004
The teens hold a séance and see to be in touch with Lila. Heather appears to be overtaken by Lila's spirit. Sage and Trent are murdered but an unknown killer. Faith, Nikolas and Dillon come in contact with the intruder at the Quartermaine Estate. Tracy blames Georgie for Sage's death because Georgie locked Sage in the unused freezer. Emily fights with the intruder who is in all black and has a white face mask. She rips off the hat and mask reveals the intruder to be Mary.
August 30 to September 3, 2004
Carly enlisted Coleman's help to find her father and then went to New York City to confront the man she believed was her father. Nikolas claimed that he had shot Mary in self-defense. Mary survived the shooting but appeared to have a split personality. Lorenzo was stunned and hurt to learn that Sage's death had been a result of mistaken identity. The teens realized that they had never really known Sage. Courtney used Sonny's jet to go to his island, so Jax joined her. Sonny and Jason were at odds over Sam's baby. Sam decided that she wanted Jason, not Sonny, to be a father to her child. Faith and Justus planned to run away together, but Sonny wanted Faith dead, even if Jason had to kill Justus to make it happen.

SEPTEMBER 2004
September 6 to 10, 2004
Felicia re-instates everyone into the competition. Edward has a heart attack. The judge says that Justus can not represent Faith, so he asks Alexis to represent her. Emily is questioned about what happened the night Mary died. Brook Lynn asks Lorenzo's permission to use Sage's lyrics for a song. He says that the poem belongs to Dillon Lois and Lorenzo sleep together. Sonny surprises Carly at her hotel in the city. She asks Coleman to come up with a fake - father because she doesn't want Sonny to know about John. John has someone analyze Carly's beer bottle. He comes back and says that she is Mrs. Sonny Corinthos and that a DNA analysis shows that she is related to John Durant.
September 13 to 17, 2004
Steven Webber returns to Port Charles to the delight of his grandmother and sister. John Durant finds his way to Port Charles to find a shocked Carly. Sam feels like Sonny is overcrowding her. Alexis is upset because her daughter needs glasses. Emily and Nikolas become engaged. Helena and Tracy pay off a nurse to say that she saw Emily go into Mary's room with the pills that killed her.
September 20 to 24, 2004
Skye escapes from Pentonville while Faith is in solitary lock-up. Carly tells Bobbie that she has found her biological father and that she has chosen not to have a relationship with him. Bobbie admits that she was almost certain that John was Carly's father and that his occupation was the reason that Bobbie tried to persuade Carly to not look for him. Sam tells Jason that he is the ideal father for anyone's child. Courtney kisses Jason in a weak moment which causes them both more harm than good. Brook Lynn undergoes a makeover. Ric tells Alexis that he is positive that he and Elizabeth are over. Morgan becomes sick and Dr. Webber is paged to help with his case. Helena and Tracy organize an engagement party for Emily and Nikolas but don't tell them. Lucky discovers that Helena and Tracy were paying Nurse Harris to lie about seeing Emily with the medicine cart. Carly is forced to introduce Michael to his maternal grandfather.
September 27 to October 1, 2004
Skye turns up at Jax's and asks him to help her hide out until she can find Luke. She corresponds with someone via the internet whom she believes is Luke; the true identity of the person she corresponds with is Heather Webber. Edward is released from the hospital and hires Heather as his "nurse." Jason tells Michael that John wants to put Sonny in jail which makes Michael speak rudely with John and insist that he wants to live with his Aunt Courtney. Sage was the closest match to the pills found on Mary's leftover pills, John uses this to get Lorenzo to help him take Sonny down. Georgie feels threatened by Dillon's relationship with his niece, Brook Lynn. Carly asks John about his side of the family after he sent her a photo album. He tells her about his mother, Rachel Heston Durant, who was a judge and was killed after she sentenced members of a large crime family to life in prison; she died in John's arms. Courtney welcomes a foster child into her home but he isn't really a child but a teenager. Emily and Nikolas refuse to believe in Helena's curse even though negative things keep happening.

OCTOBER 2004
October 4 to 8, 2004
Carly wants to test her father to see if he's just using her to get to Sonny despite Jason's staunch objections. Steven believes that some of Emily's illness is psychological. Ric doesn't believe it either until Alexis starts talking about her own mother. Justus is named as Lila's heir. Heather, pretending to be Luke through an instant messenger, convinces Skye to meet "him" at the Elm Street Pier, where Skye is discovered by Ric. Edward and Heather become engaged but, as she tells Laura who is in the Q's attic, she intends for Edward to not live much longer than it would take for her to inherit his money. Heather says she drugged Luke and put him in a sanitarium but she finds out that he escaped. Ric asks Steven if any DNA can be found on the note that Luke wrote and more specifically, not Luke's DNA. One of Sonny and Jason's warehouses blows up while John and Lorenzo are on the docks. Luke, dressed as a homeless man, helps Skye to escape the van headed to Pentonville.
October 11 to 15, 2004
Emily and Nikolas go to Kronosa to try to break the curse. Dillon and Georgie agree to help Skye and Luke hide out until they can find out who really killed Det. Duncan. Courtney tells Jax that she is afraid of going further in their relationship. Diego wants to go to work for Jason and Sonny. Alexis takes Kristina to the hospital after she has spiked another high fever. Seeing her distraught, Sonny calls Ric to give Alexis emotional support. Ric and Steven are afraid that Kristina may have leukemia. Carly goes to Durant's press conference. Michael and Sonny watch via the TV in a hospital room as John hugs Carly at the exact moment that a hit woman, hired by Alcazar, shoots.
October 18 to 22, 2004
Jason was arrested for shooting Durant but was later released when suspicion turned to Alcazar. Heather and Edward got married. Luke called in an anonymous tip that Jax knew of Skye's whereabouts. Luke and Skye tried to convince Faith to work with them in their plan to get Skye exonerated from Ross's murder. Helena tried to kill Emily in the hospital chapel, but Alexis quickly challenged her until Ric was able to wrestle the knife from her. Alexis found out that Kristina had aplastic anemia and needed a bone marrow transplant. The extended Corinthos clan celebrated Morgan's first birthday. Michael thought that Jason might have feelings for Sam.
October 25 to 29, 2004
Faith confesses to killing Det. Duncan. Connor Bishop kidnaps Emily and intends on making Nikolas watch him kill her. Courtney breaks up with Jax. Alexis is forced to tell Ric that he is Kristina's uncle after the prospective donor is killed en route to the hospital. Carly goes with Durant to Manhattan to have surgery and ends up visiting with John's ex-wife. Heather and Tracy team up and have Edward committed to Shadybrook. Brook Lynn and Diego are locked in Alcazar's warehouse after Jason sat a bomb.

NOVEMBER 2004
November 1 to 5, 2004
Nikolas shoots Connor. Diego and Brook Lynn narrowly escape Alcazar's warehouse as a bomb goes off. Courtney and Jax make love. Carly tells Sonny about Kristina. Alexis and Ric get married in the hospital chapel. After all the other possible donors are tested, Steven says that the only option is to induce Sam's labor and use stem cells from her baby's umbilical cord. Sam refuses to take the risk to her child. Michael overhears Carly and John talk about what happened between Carly and Sonny and later informs Carly that she will be leaving while he and Morgan stay with Sonny because she's the one who lied. John offers Carly a place to live.
November 8 to 12, 2004
Sam was shattered over the loss of her baby and blamed Sonny and Alexis. Kristina's procedure was deemed a success. Emily and Nikolas hid Connor at Wyndemere. Michael lashed out at Carly, John, and Lorenzo. John bought a house for Carly and the boys. Dillon found Laura in the attic at the Quartermaine mansion, but she was gone by the time Luke got there. Heather bought into the Haunted Star.
November 15 to 19, 2004
Courtney told Jax that she didn't want to move in with him. Citizens of Port Charles memorialized Sam and Sonny's baby. Diego broke into social worker Grace's apartment and discovered letters from his sister. Sam told Jason she wanted to have another baby. Nikolas was not impressed by Connor's behavior toward Emily. Sonny was arrested for racketeering. Carly tried to destroy Ric's evidence against Sonny. Edward was released from Shadybrook and informed Heather of his plan to divorce her and leave her penniless.
November 22 to 26, 2004
Alexis found Sam lying unconscious on the hospital roof. Steven rescued Carly from the fire inside Ric's apartment and ordered her to leave before anyone saw her there. Someone stole a charred file from Ric's apartment. Nikolas was arrested after he confessed to killing Helena. Alexis threatened to expose Sonny unless he granted her full custody of Kristina. Brook Lynn, Diego, Dillon and Georgie headed to Mexico to find Diego's sister, Maria - and all four ended up in jail. Alcazar and Lois discussed their feelings. Heather drugged Edward with the intent to kill him, but ran off when Tracy interrupted her plans.
November 29 to December 3, 2004
Alexis admitted to Ric that she is using a file she stole to blackmail Sonny. Steven confirmed to Carly that Durant arrived in Port Charles with the intention of destroying Sonny. Nikolas was given permission to temporarily leave jail so that he and Emily could be married. Luke confronted Heather and got her to admit that she killed Ross, framed Skye and kidnapped Laura. A drugged Skye saw a vision of a young girl who urged her to jump to her death. A tipsy Samantha kissed Jason.

DECEMBER 2004
December 6 to 10, 2004
Durant confessed that he had obtained the incriminating file against Sonny illegally. Nikolas was sentenced after Alexis, Lucky, and the Quartermaines testified on his behalf. Georgie and Dillon suspected that Alcazar was the man that Maria didn't want Diego around, while Diego and Brook Lynn remained convinced that it was Sonny. Lady Jane Jacks arrived in town and was not impressed with Courtney. After hearing from P. Connolly that Laura had been killed in a fire, Luke opened the grave and found remains of a body and Laura's wedding ring. Sam moved out of the penthouse. Alexis attempted to take Kristina out of the hospital when no one was around. Carly and Steven went out but not before the Corinthos male duo questioned them.
December 13 to 17, 2004
Sonny and Alexis finally agree on a custody agreement. Connor and Lucky develop a plan to have Connor take Nikolas' place. Kristina is released from the hospital. Maria comes face to face with Lorenzo and he assures her that he is not a threat to Diego. Steven helps Carly and Michael pick out a Christmas tree. Skye finds out that Laura is still alive and that Bobbie is arranging for her to be cared for. As the power goes out due to the snow storm Jax is stuck at Kelly's with Sam, Courtney and Jason are together in the loft, Sonny is left with Jordan, Kristina, Michael and Morgan in his penthouse and Carly receives a visitor at her darkened cottage.
December 20 to 24, 2004
Mac realizes that Emily, Nikolas, Lucky and Elizabeth have tried to pass off Connor as Nikolas. Bobbie confesses to Luke that Laura is alive and that Bobbie concocted the story about Laura being dead so that Luke would be forced to go on with his life. While Durant, Steven and Carly are at Carly's the roof collapses because of the blizzard and Steven has to perform life-saving surgery on Carly for a collapsed lung. Jax and Sonny team up to rescue Ric and Alexis on Christmas Eve. With Tony in surgery, Durant takes over as Santa Claus for the annual GH Christmas party. Alan, Tracy, Monica and Edward are saddened at the thought of celebrating Christmas without Lila. Despite her earlier objections, Alexis allows Kristina to be christened in the Catholic Church as long as Ric can be Kristina's godfather since Sonny insists on Carly being her godmother.
December 27 to 31, 2004
Jason and Sam plan to raise Bridget's baby. Carly moves into an apartment across from Steven while her roof is being repaired. Luke, Skye, Lucky, Elizabeth, Dillon, Georgie and Emily enlist Connor's help in proving that Helena is still alive. Courtney finds out that Lorenzo is Diego's father. Jax throws a New Year's masquerade ball for the opening of the Metro Court. Carly and Steven drop off Michael and Morgan at Sonny's as Ric and Alexis are dropping off Kristina. Michael schemes to see if his mother will come home from the party.
