Days of our Lives alum Jessica Serfaty retracts abuse accusations

The former Days of our Lives star made some serious accusations in her Instagram stories.

Jessica Serfaty, who departed the role of Days of our Lives' Sloan Petersen at the end of May, is involved in her own real-life drama.

According to Page Six, the actress accused her fiance, Ray Ban heir Leonardo Del Vecchio, of hitting her. Then, the actress quickly denied the allegations.

Soap Opera Digest reports that Serfaty used her Instagram stories to explain her original Stories post on July 21.

"Leo and I apologise for any who were triggered or affected by yesterday's story," she said. "Sometimes a family can have their own arguments and these should never be made public. We ask that people respect our privacy at this time."

Serfaty admitted that her words were said in anger and went on to praise Del Vecchio.

"I would never stay with an abusive man and which Leonardo Del Vecchio is not," Serfaty continued. "I revoke my words that were driven by anger and not in truth. I take back my words on a guy that will always be a companion, stepfather, and family person to me."

Serfaty and Del Vecchio became engaged in July of 2023, but there's been no word of a wedding date. The pair has become part of the rich and famous social scene, appearing together at the famed Met Gala in New York City this past May. Serfaty often shares photos of herself, Del Vecchio, and her teenage son Roman on their many luxury travels.

From 2022 to 2024, Serfaty played attorney Sloan Petersen on DAYS. After Sloan fell for Eric Brady and miscarried their baby, she was desperate to give him a child so she stole Nicole's baby while also concealing the fact that Eric was the infant's biological father. After the truth came out, EJ helped Sloan skip town and told her to never step foot in Salem again.
