The Young and the Restless' Joshua Morrow can't wait for soap fans to meet his son

Joshua Morrow is about to have a two-soap family when son Crew becomes a player on The Bold and the Beautiful.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree in the Morrow house as Joshua Morrow's son Crew is about to bring a Logan-Spencer offspring to life on The Bold and the Beautiful. All those years of watching his dad as The Young and the Restless' Nick Newman had an effect on the young actor.

When Katie and Bill's son, Will, returns from school on August 1, Crew Morrow will be playing the suddenly SORASed character. It remains to be seen whether Will is ushering in a new teen scene or if he will be part of the young adult scene with R.J. and Luna. However, he will have to contend with meeting a new sister, Luna -- if she really is Bill's daughter, of course.

While Morrow and his wife Tobe have four children together, Crew is the only one who has pursued acting. When he made the decision to give the Hollywood life a try, Morrow was taken aback but eventually got on board.

"He was on his way to go to school at Oregon, and he took his final trip with his mother, and he got on the plane, he goes, 'You know what? I'm not going do this. These aren't my people. I'm just going to go home and write movies and be an actor,'" Morrow explained to Michael Fairman TV.

Morrow had a talk with Crew to see if it was what he really wanted -- and also gave him a reality check.

"I remember sitting him down going, 'Bro, it's not that easy.' He goes, 'You did it.' I'm like, 'Well, that's true. Alright, we support you,'" Morrow explained. "He had written a couple screenplays and had taken a screenwriting class and one acting class at this point. I introduced him to my manager and Crew got a couple movies right away, and then got this role on The Bold and Beautiful."

As Crew's first airdate as Will approaches, Morrow is excited for soap fans to see what his son can do.

"I cannot wait for the world to meet him, and for all of you to meet him, because he is a great kid," Morrow boasted, before adding, "He is going to be a very, very big deal. Mark my words."
