A frantic Roseanne appeals to Cristian for help after learning that she's broke. Will and Jessica discuss their troubled past and an uncertain future. Todd coaxes a hysterical Blair away from the crime scene, then gently helps her wash the gunpowder residue from her hands and arms. John and Rae resume their romantic evening and turn up the heat on their relationship. R.J. jeers at Roseanne for blowing her million dollar inheritance so quickly and so foolishly. Leaping to his former fiancée's defense, Cris jabs at R.J. but only succeeds in re-injuring his damaged hand. As Todd rehearses a shaky Blair in a plausible-sounding alibi, Asa returns home and is devastated to see his "son" lying in a pool of blood. Later, Rae and John cut short their blissful interlude when word arrives of a shooting at the Buchanan mansion. Cris' day hits rock bottom when he spots Jessica and Will locked in an embrace. Todd looks on warily as John interrogates Blair. Cristian goes to work for R.J.

Lindsay's guilty conscience begins to gnaw away at her again as she contemplates another lucrative round of blackmail. Asa sits vigil beside Max's bed in the ICU, waiting anxiously for him to regain consciousness. Meanwhile, at the precinct house, Bo ignores Blair's plaintive pleas to be allowed to visit her wounded husband and instead continues grilling both her and Todd about the shooting. Unable to provide a transfusion for Max, Asa hopes that Renee's blood type will match their "son's" but snarls at Rae when she volunteers to donate instead. Todd and Blair breathe a sigh of relief after they both test negative for gunpowder residue. Later, Todd hints to Skye that she's about to become the prime suspect in the attack on Max. Colin threatens to expose Lindsay unless she coughs up more dough. Todd plants the murder weapon in Skye's hotel room.
