Finn questioned Hope about a headache that he witnessed her battling and convinced her to let him try massage techniques to relieve the pain. He further advised her to avoid stress. Hope and Finn were pressured from all directions about how to respond to Deacon and Sheila's wedding invitations. Deacon and Sheila implored them to attend, but the Forresters insisted that they shouldn't. Hope decided to attend as the maid of honor, but Finn chose to decline and remain loyal to his wife. Thinking the wedding would be at the beach, Finn ordered carry-out pizza from Deacon's restaurant. To his surprise, the wedding had been moved to that location. He accepted Deacon and Sheila's invitation to attend the ceremony while waiting for his pizza.

Finn was devastated when he found that Gregory had passed away in his sleep. Elizabeth was alarmed when she realized that Finn had tried to numb his pain with alcohol. Elizabeth confided in Portia as a friend about Finn. After learning about Gregory's passing, Chase and Brook Lynn canceled their honeymoon trip and returned home from the airport. With support from Chase, Finn decided to attend a meeting. Cody broke the terrible news to Tracy. Lois was delighted when Monica agreed to let Gio move into the mansion. Dex talked to Anna and chose not to pursue charges against Sonny for assault. Anna felt that the time wasn't right to take Sonny down.
