Wyatt was troubled by Sally mistakenly calling him Liam. Sally worked hard to reassure Wyatt and said they'd make it -- even if it killed her. Thomas enlisted Douglas in a pitch to get Hope to return to work on HFTF. Liam was sure Hope wanted to be at home with Beth and was surprised to hear that Hope had been thinking of returning to work. Even though Ridge served Brooke with divorce papers, he sensed that neither of them wanted to divorce. He thought they could heal the situation if Brooke would forgive Thomas.

Kayla said no to Justin's invitation to move into the mansion, and she asked him to move in with her instead. John and Marlena debated whether Stefano had sent her flowers. Clyde attempted to kill Will, but Ben intervened and was accidentally stabbed instead. Stefano struggled to accept that he was trapped in Steve's body. Eric told Nicole that their relationship was over. Evan kissed Sonny. Ciara broke into Xander's lockbox, but she did not find anything incriminating. Eric offered to split custody of Mackenzie with Sarah if Xander moved out of the house. Xander agreed to move, and he and Sarah almost made love. Mackenzie spiked a fever. Gabi sent Eli to Rome to buy Kristen's stock, and he found Lani in the convent. J.J. stowed away with Eli to Rome and held Kristen at gunpoint. Chad and Gabi agreed they were at war.

Jordan and Curtis celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Willow took a pregnancy test, but it was negative. Kendra's attempt to run Alexis over was thwarted when Lucas lost control of Brad's car and careened into Kendra's SUV. Kendra died at the scene. Brad escaped with minor injuries, but Lucas suffered a critical head injury, and he was put into a medically induced coma. At Carly's request, Griffin Munro returned for a short visit to evaluate Lucas' injuries. Sonny talked to Griffin about Mike's prognosis. Julian was horrified when he realized that Lucas had been driving the car that Julian had tampered with. Chase told Michael that the undercarriage of Brad's car had been too damaged to determine if there had been a brake failure, but Chase hoped that forensics might provide answers. Finn found the letter that Hayden had written explaining why she had to disappear. Jax was furious when he learned that Nikolas had manipulated Hayden to go into hiding. A heavily sedated Ava believed that Nikolas was a ghost, so Nikolas claimed that he was stuck in hell with Kiki unless Ava revealed where Helena's painting was hidden. Valentin and Martin broke into Ava's gallery to search for the painting. Nina was alarmed when she found Nikolas' signet ring under Ava's bed. Sam met her new cellmate -- Nelle. Peter put a hit on Andre Maddox and Franco to make certain that the memory mapping procedure was not completed.

Billy grappled with what to do with his life. Elena and Devon bristled when Nate defended Amanda. Billy and Amanda forged a friendship when he chased off a drunk who was hassling her at a dive bar. Billy later contemplated why he'd kept his innocent conversation with Amanda a secret from Victoria. Rey and Victoria bonded when they were trapped in her office during a power outage. Rey apologized to Victoria for falsely arresting her for tampering with Victor's medication. Amanda tracked someone's whereabouts on her phone. Devon carved out special time with Elena after she complained that the will scam was interfering in their relationship. Devon dreamed about Hilary, who morphed into Amanda. Chance agreed to help Abby find the Grand Phoenix's jewel thief. Abby fired Phyllis. Abby asked Chance out, but he put their date on hold after he caught her with the stolen jewels. The rift between Nick and Chelsea grew when she moved in with Adam for Connor's sake. Nick claimed to support Chelsea's decision but feared that Adam was using Connor's issues to get closer to Chelsea. Phyllis told Nick that he deserved better than Chelsea. Connor told Sharon that he didn't need their talks anymore, and he became fixated on spending all his time with Chelsea and Adam. Theo ended his relationship with Summer.
