Fans of former One Life to Live star Renée Elise Goldsberry (ex-Evangeline Williamson) won't want to miss her upcoming event at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. The actress will be singing a selection of American Pop standards and other songs during an intimate evening at the California venue this February.
The singer/actress is known for her iconic role in the Broadway hit Hamilton, for which she garnered a Tony, Grammy, Drama Desk Award, and Lucille Lortel Award. She has also performed in Broadway's The Lion King, Rent, and The Color Purple.
As Soap Central previously reported, Goldsberry has recently taken her singing skills to the small screen in the Peacock series Girls5Eva, which follows a delusional 1990s diva as she tries to reunite a girl band whose members have dropped out of the music business and have been living in obscurity.
In addition to playing OLTL's Evangeline from 2003 to 2007, Goldsberry's list of television credits includes Altered Carbon, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, The Good Wife, Fast & Furious Spy Racers, and Centaurworld.
Goldsberry's Cerritos Center performance is set for Saturday, February 26, at 8:00PM. For tickets and more information, click here.
