While recurring characters are often dismissed as not as important as contract players, some of these characters are a little more Precious than others. That's the case with a newly casted role.
Barret Helms, who is known to moviegoers as the dream boyfriend of Precious in the Oscar-nominated film, Precious: Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire, will play a character by the name of Baz. When One Life to Live was originally casting the role, the character was going by the name of Robbie. At the time, Robbie was described as "a sexy and confident college student who interns at a well-known newspaper."
Baz is also rumored to have an unusual link to a current Llanview resident.
Helms will first air on June 20.
