Ryan breaks into Zach's office and finds a file taped to the bottom of Zach's desk just as Zach arrives at his office. Ryan manages to hide before Zach enters. As Zach makes a business call, Ethan and Simone are in the bar Ryan's long absence. They decide to go to Zach's office on a false pretense to make certain everything is ok. When they arrive at Zach's office, Simone talks about the wedding and how the conflict between father and son is causing her stress which will in turn give her hives and ruin her wedding day. Zach listens with amusement and agrees to join them at the bar to talk things over. After Zach leaves, Ryan quickly makes a copy of the document he found and returns the original to where he found it. Before he leaves the office, Ryan makes sure that everything is exactly as Zach last left it.

At the bar, Ethan, Simone and Zach enjoy a cocktail as they continue to discuss the wedding. Ethan quietly excuses himself to make an urgent call. Simone takes the opportunity to talk to Zach about his relationship with Ethan, specifically why it seems that Zach is unable to love Ethan. As they talk, Simone realizes that Zach does care for his son. She tries to pursue the topic when Ethan returns to her side but Zach is uncomfortable and quickly excuses himself. Ethan is equally eager to leave, explaining to Simone as they walk out that Ryan found something in Zach's office.

Later, Zach reviews a security tape showing Ryan entering his office, Ethan and Simone's arrival in which Simone is seen to be nervously looking around and then Ryan's departure. Elsewhere, Ethan reviews the document that Ryan found. He concludes that it is a schematic but can't figure out if it's for a product or warehouse. Ryan notes the date on the document, sensing that 9/20 holds some significance since he saw that Zach had it circled on a calendar. While the men try to figure out what it could mean, Simone talks about what a disaster that day was, noting that it was the day of the disaster launch at Fusion and the brownout/blackout. At the mention of the latter, Ryan looks up, convinced that the schematic is somehow linked to the blackout.

Kendall pays Erica a visit to talk to her about Zach and her pregnancy. She asks Erica to put her relationship with Kendall first and not her animosity toward Zach, explaining that Zach is the only person in her life who is keeping her sane. Erica is surprised when she learns that Kendall had a miscarriage scare and expresses her upset that no one bothered to tell her about it. Kendall points out that it would have just made matters worse because Erica would have used the opportunity to once again try to talk Kendall out of staying in a relationship with Zach. After Kendall tells Erica that she needs her mother in her life, she asks Erica if she is able to love Kendall more than she hates Zach. As they talk, Erica reveals to Kendall that after she gave birth to her and before she got pregnant with Bianca, she had ended a pregnancy. Kendall is shocked to learn that the doctor who performed Erica's abortion was the same doctor who helped Kendall to get pregnant, Greg Madden. Kendall finally understands Erica's abhorrence with Greg being Kendall's OB. She agrees to consider changing doctors, provided she can find someone trustworthy to replace Dr. Madden, if Erica in turn agrees to stop badgering Kendall about Zach. Erica agrees to meet Kendall halfway in regards to Kendall. Kendall is more than happy with the concession. As they spend some time visiting with each other, Kendall happens to notice a tabloid with a headline declaring that Erica is back to popping pills. Utterly disgusted with the malicious lie, Kendall asks Erica who could possibly hate her so much that they'd spread those kinds of lies about Erica.

Tad, Palmer and JR arrive just as Jonathan is trying to rescue the hostages in the truck. Jamie soon joins them as they all work together to free everyone from the truck before it submerges under the quicksand. Nearby, Amanda hides in the trees and watches the efforts. Inside the truck everyone anxiously awaits the rescue, fearing the worst. Luckily the men are able to open the door and help everyone out of the truck before it finally slips under the quicksand. Amanda is relieved to see everyone safe and sound. As she prepares to leave, she happens to look down and notices something on the ground. When she picks it up, she realizes that it's an earring. Thinking it's hers, she checks her ears and discovers that she has both of hers. She is horrified to realize that Janet had the same exact earrings. Meanwhile, everyone except for JR, Jamie, Tad and Jonathan leave after Tad confirms that none of the hostages has any idea who kidnapped them. Jonathan is a bit nervous as Tad begins to question him about how he ended up finding the truck. When Jonathan does give them a clear explanation, JR and Jamie become frustrated and grab him. They threaten to toss him into the quicksand which prompts Jonathan to tell them about Janet. Unfortunately, since he doesn't know her true identity, his story doesn't make any sense.

Josh stops by the Chandler mansion to see Babe who immediately breaks down and tells him about Krystal's disappearance. Josh keeps Babe company while they await news and takes the opportunity to try to convince Babe of sticking to her original plan when he realizes that Babe's feelings for JR are changing. Babe admits that she cares for JR but stops short of confessing her love for him. Despite her effort, Josh becomes convinced that Babe has fallen back in love with JR and tries to remind her of how hateful JR has been. They are interrupted when Krystal walks in. Josh slips out while Babe reunites with her mother. Later, as Adam and Krystal are sitting on the sofa, Babe announces that she and JR plan to get married.

Safely ensconced in her hiding place, Janet talks to "Mirror Janet" who berates her for what she considers to be a faulty plan. When "Mirror Janet" points out that if everyone on the truck dies, she will be considered a murderer. Again. Janet rationalizes that the end justifies the means if Amanda ends up in Jamie's arms again. A short while later, Janet receives a call from Amanda who is clearly distressed and asking to see her mother immediately. Janet rushes off to meet Amanda and is shocked when Amanda shows her the earring that she found and explains where she found it. Rather than deny being there, Janet admits that she was.

Adam is less than happy about Babe and J.R. Remarrying, but he said he was going to give the bride a prime piece of real estate for a wedding gift. Babe went with Adam to see this property, but just after they left, Krystal realized that Adam was taking Babe to the quicksand pit and she went after them. Adam said there would be snowmen in Hades before that wedding took place. Krystal asked Babe if she was sure that she wanted to marry J.R. and Babe told her that maybe she didn't have to scam J.R. to marry her. She told Krystal that things really were different with J.R. but Krystal said she still had doubts. Krystal told Babe that she was headed for another broken heart. J.R. came in and Babe told him that she would marry him.

Jonathan told Tad, J.R. and Jamie about the woman with the balloons. He said that she had lots of uniforms and this time she said that lives were at stake. He said that he listened to the he/she this time. He told them of all the encounters he had with Janet and Tad asked if anyone besides him saw this person. Tad told J.R. to take it easy but J.R. said that he wanted Jonathan in jail. Erin and Aidan came and tried to get Jonathan to describe the mystery person. Tad said that maybe Jonathan had been putting people at risk so he could save them. Jonathan told Aidan and Erin about Janet and all the costumes and Aidan said that it was so crazy it just might be true. Jonathan was arrested and taken away.

Amanda tried to show Janet the error of her ways. Amanda asked her if she was the one who has been doing all the evil things and Janet said that she did. Janet told Amanda to leave the dirty work to her. Amanda asked what other dirty work there was to do but Janet told her that she was just being a loving parent and ensuring her child's happiness. Amanda said that she could take care of herself, but Janet said she didn't have to. Amanda asked where Trevor was and Janet said that he had grown rather cold of late and wasn't very supportive. Amanda told Janet that she needed to go home and Janet said that home was with her. Janet took Amanda to the warehouse that she had been living in and Janet showed her all the little scenes she had made depicting all the mayhem that had been going on. She showed Amanda small scale scenes of Kendall in a hammock dangling off the roof, David going in for surgery, Babe going down the stairs, etc. Janet showed Amanda all the costumes that she had been wearing. Janet told Amanda that Jonathan deserved all the blame. Janet confessed to the fire at the bar and Amanda told her that she was the criminal now. Janet told Amanda that all she ever wanted was to do was to make her happy. In tears, Janet asked for forgiveness but the next moment she was screaming that she didn't deserve forgiveness. Amanda asked Janet if she had any of her meds and Janet showed her the empty medicine bottles. Amanda locked Janet in the warehouse, called Trevor and left a message for him to call ASAP.

Ryan and Ethan suspected that Zach was behind the blackout. Ryan said that Zach was playing God and he was going to stop him. Ethan found out the schematic that Ryan found in Zach's office was the Pine Valley power grid. After blaming Zach for everything but global warming, Simone stopped them and told Ryan that it wasn't all about him. Simone asked if it was absolutely necessary that Kendall know about Zach being the cause of the blackout. Of course, Ryan said that he had to tell Kendall. Ryan said that he would find hard evidence to incriminate Zach.

Zach, always smarter than Ryan and Ethan, watched the surveillance tape that showed Ryan breaking into his office. The tape then showed Ethan and Simone as they entered his office. Zach looked at the schematics when Kendall came in. Kendall told Zach that she trusted him completely. He told her that he would protect her no matter what and asked her to marry him for real this time. She said of course she would marry him.

Ryan visited serial killer Jonathan in jail and promised he'd help his brother get out. "No," Jonathan surprisingly replied. He was worried that the lady he was seeing (Janet) was just in his head. When he found out Ryan had a meeting with Kendall about the baby, Jonathan urged his brother to go, so he did. Shortly after Ryan left, Lily arrived to visit Jonathan. She was stressed over the fact that they would have a hard time being "boyfriend and girlfriend" with him in the slammer. She understood him better than most people and was worried about him. When Jonathan told Lily about the mystery lady, Detective Lily had a new case on her hands. In return for her services, she wanted a date from the serial killer.

At New Beginnings, Erica and Zach shared a tense moment before Kendall broke it up. Before Kendall could announce her good news, Josh barged in with bad news: taping at the Yacht Club wouldn't work. Zach offered Erica the use of his casino instead. When Erica said no, Kendall reminded her mom of her promise to be nicer to Zach. The duo promised to be civil to each other, for Kendall's sake. Kendall excused Zach so she could tell her mom her big news, but again, they were interrupted so Erica could tape her Mardi Gras ball announcement. Before announcing her engagement, Kendall had to leave for her meeting with Ryan, but Zach stayed to chat with Erica.

After another night of fun, Julia and David shared breakfast at Wildwind, but Julia surprised David by trying to break up with him. David wondered if there was someone else and wished Julia would give it a shot with him. She thought it was for the best if they parted ways. He told her to keep his digits and left. Later, Julia showed up at Ryan's office and had shocking news for him. She wanted to adopt he and Kendall's baby. He promised he would consider it, but his current top priority was protecting Kendall. Julia fled once Kendall arrived. Later, Zach dropped the engagement bombshell on his mother-in-law-to-be while Kendall told a stunned Ryan, who said she couldn't marry him until she knew. "What don't I know?" Kendall wondered.

When Amanda went back to Janet, she was appalled to see her mom in another costume, plotting to become a Nanny for Little Adam. Amanda promised she loved and trusted her mom, but Janet asked her to prove it by giving her the key. She hated being locked up. Fortunately, Amanda held onto the key tightly and gave Janet her medication. Janet seemingly took a pill, but once Amanda left, she lifted it from under her tongue. Later, while conversing with MirrorJanet, Janet found another way out....

Jamie showed up at New Beginnings looking for Amanda. "Princess must be sleeping late," Josh spouted and went to work, leaving Jamie to snoop in Amanda's things. When Josh returned, he found Jamie snooping and announced he didn't believe Amanda's blackout stories anymore. Once she left Janet, Amanda went straight to New Beginnings. After Josh scolded her, Amanda unknowingly dropped Janet's pills. Once Jamie left and Amanda went back to work, Josh picked up Janet's medication that Amanda dropped and pocketed some of the pills.

JR wakes up his once-again bride-to-be with a rose, and she wonders if she is still dreaming. She tells JR the last time things felt this good - she got hit between the eyes. She wants to know if she needs to brace herself, presumably for a repeat performance, and JR says that she should. She thinks that she should ready herself for a fight, but JR surprises her. He tells her that with this engagement and pending marriage, she will get total commitment from him - to her, to their son, to their marriage. He admits that now, she is his home. The only other person who made him feel that way was Dixie. For that reason, he pulls out a box with the necklace that Tad gave to his mother and offers it to her. Stunned, Babe sits speechless as JR further admits that he trusts her now, and there is no better way to tell her that than by giving her the piece of jewelry his mother said was filled with more love than he ever knew existed. She allows him to put it around her neck, but quickly changes her mind when she realizes just how much it meant for JR to give it up. She tells him that the necklace symbolizes the amazing love his mom shared with Tad, and admits that it is a lot to live up to. JR tells her that even Tad and Dixie had their problems - but the point is that they worked through them. He fairly begs her to keep the necklace, saying that it would help keep Dixie alive. After some more thought, she finally agrees. They briefly talk about their upcoming wedding, and agree that a small wedding would be best. The surprises keep coming, because then JR asks her to take Little A to the park, and she can't believe that she can do so alone. JR tells her that she has a lot of quality time to catch up on, and that he will join her soon. Overjoyed, she kisses him sweetly before leaving. JR has but mere moments to savor his morning thus far before his father joins him in the bedroom. Adam questions JR's decision to let Babe take Little A out of the house alone, but JR insists that he trusts her. Adam negates the need for his question by informing his son that the bodyguard will remain close and check in on them. JR doesn't think that's necessary, and says that Adam needs to get used to the idea that he and Babe would be marrying again. Adam promises that he wants to celebrate it - and offers to be JR's best man. Always skeptical, JR wants to know just where that offer came from. Adam says that Stuart can be blamed for his change of heart. Adam admits that he has overstepped boundaries with JR, but it was all in the name of love and protecting his son. He assumes that JR knows what that feels like, now that he has a son of his own. Pleased enough, Adam starts to leave but stops short. He has an idea that he wants to share with his son, one that he hopes will be heard and considered. Behind closed doors, Adam reveals his idea - and it's one that JR thinks is beyond the scope of best man. Adam admits that he doesn't want to trust Babe - but he trusts his son, and thinks that his idea is the way to prove that Babe is for real this time.

Amanda phones the CIA in an attempt to track down her father.

The wheels in Josh's head continue to turn as he looks back and forth between the pills he stole, and a picture of Erica.

The performance over, Erica admits that she is appalled at the idea that Kendall would marry Zach again. Curious, Zach wonders why both of her daughters could care for him but she can't. He asks her what he had done that is so unforgivable. Opening the door to her office as an invitation to leave, Erica flippantly tells him that she thinks Kendall can do better. Zach, however, doesn't buy it - since he is the guy willing to devote his life to her daughter. As Josh comes down the stairs and in earshot of the conversation, Zach admits that he thinks the real reason lies in how he saw her in Vegas - the perfect Erica Kane, out of control and lost in a bottle. Further, Zach says, he thinks that her fear that it may happen again may be what is driving her. She quietly says that they needn't have the conversation - and Zach promises that he will never tell anyone what happened out west. Shaking herself from the reverie, she returns to her true form and rages against the ego she believes Zach possesses. She reminds him that she doesn't think of him as a man that she can trust, let alone a man that could make Kendall happy. She tells him that Ryan is trustworthy and dependable where he is not, but Zach retorts by reminding her that both of her daughters actually do trust him. Erica thinks it's momentary, but Zach believes that with enough moments built up, they could span a lifetime. Erica tells him that she would love to be able to look back many years from this moment, and see that he proved himself worthy...but right now, if she had to choose who to trust, Ryan would win hands down. Zach tells her that she has no reason to fear him - all he wants to do is give Kendall the world. As he readies himself to go, Josh makes himself visible at the door. Erica invites him in, and he asks if she made a decision regarding the replacement venue for the ball. Somewhat painfully, she asks Zach if the casino was still available. He graciously says that the offer still stands, and promises to take care of everything. He leaves, and Erica mutters about how nothing could be worse than being indebted to Zach.

Josh and Erica leave her office and head downstairs as she continues to rant about her unhappiness regarding the problems that have been popping up. Amanda is still on the phone and is unaware of their arrival. Erica warns Josh that if he knows anything, he needs to come clean. Just then, Amanda raises her voice slightly out of frustration, calling attention to herself. Josh interrupts her and asks if she would like to offer an explanation to Erica about what has been going on. As she hangs up the phone, Josh seems unable to stop himself from blaming all of the mishaps around the studio on Amanda. Erica is horrified and demands to know how and why Amanda would sabotage her in this way. Josh admits that Amanda had been having blackouts, and that he thought he could handle things by just keeping an eye out for her. He tells Erica that if she wants to be mad at someone, she should be mad at him. Instead, she turns to Amanda and tells her that things like this cannot continue. She gives Amanda one more chance - if she messes up again, she'll be fired. With that, Erica storms back to her office. Josh starts to walk away but Amanda isn't having it. She demands to know why he just held her out as the culprit when he was really just trying to save himself. Josh blows her off, saying that she needs to get over what happened and get back to work. Incensed, but knowing that he spoke truth, Amanda walks off in a huff. After double checking to make sure that no one is within sight, Josh takes the three pills that he stole and puts them in Erica's tea. He then goes over to Amanda's desk and apologizes for being so harsh. She reminds him that she doesn't want to lose her job, and he tells her that she needs to do what he does: put Erica first, 24/7. He then, as a way of apologizing further, asks Amanda to take Erica her good luck cup of tea. She thanks him and heads up to Erica's office with the delivery. Once out of sight, Josh uses Amanda's phone to call an assistant. He tells the assistant that they are green lighted for the casino, and to get over there and set up as fast as possible. He notes that he wants cameras rolling and on Erica from the minutes she steps into the casino.

Up in her office, as Erica gets prepared, Amanda arrives. After setting the tea on the desk as instructed, Amanda apologizes again for her mistakes and promises that they will never happen again. She asks Erica to forgive her, and Erica does so easily. Amanda then insists that Erica drink her tea for good luck. Agreeably, Erica makes a toast and does just that.

Kendall seems slightly amused that Ryan still thinks that he can tell her what to do. She insists that he tell her what information he has on Zach that would make her change her mind about marrying him. Ryan, belatedly realizing that he tipped his hand too soon, tries to back away. When it becomes clear that Kendall won't give up so easily, Ryan tries to play it off as uneasiness based on the same old issues he has always had with Zach. He then tries to change the subject by reminding her that Livia would be showing up at any moment for their meeting. This makes Kendall irate, and she announces that she will not sign off on full parental rights for Ryan if he insists on keeping secrets. She is certain that there are no more secrets between she and her fiancé, so she believes that whatever Ryan has to say will be water under the bridge. He tells her that if she knows every last secret about Zach, no one should stop them from getting married.

A short time later, Livia shows up at Ryan's office and the trio settles in to legalize all matters regarding the son Kendall is carrying. They both sign off on the paperwork, and Livia notarizes it. Not wanting to waste any time, Livia tells them that she is going to go directly to the courthouse to file everything. Kendall has some other errands to run, and decides to walk out with Livia. The parents to be agree to talk soon, and then Ryan is alone in his office. This is only momentary, as Ethan soon shows up. Ryan informs him that Kendall and Zach plan to remarry, and Ethan is shocked that Kendall can't see Zach for who he really is. Ryan says that they don't have a lot of time, so they need answers quickly that will help them prove to Kendall without a doubt that Zach is the person behind the blackout. Ethan then fills Ryan in on the information he has - that the cause of the blackout was three of the generators going down at the same time. Although the company's investigation was inconclusive, they maintain that the software wasn't at fault. They believe someone hacked into the system and caused the failure. Ryan breaks in and notes that even with a massive failure like that, the clinic's back up generators should have kicked on. They are now burdened with proving that the two blackouts in one night can all point back to Zach - and they know they will have a difficult time of it.

At the park, Babe plays with her son in the snow as Janet quietly approaches from behind. Once she makes herself seen, they talk for a while. During their chat, Janet asks that both JR and Babe leave Amanda alone if they can't embrace her. Babe silently agrees, gently holding her new necklace between her fingers. Janet notices, and realizes that the glow Babe seems to be affecting is not just because of her son. Babe admits that she and JR are engaged again, and Janet spins off into a wild fantasy about Amanda being that happy one day, and further...how wonderful it would be if there was a double wedding. Babe doesn't think it will happen, but is unwilling to say why. She tries to leave so that she can take her son back to the house, but Janet refuses to let her go. Without being able to get much in edgewise, Janet works herself up into a state about the possibility that despite everything nice that Jamie has done for Amanda, he really isn't in love with her. Babe tells Janet that she doesn't have the inside track on their relationship. Her only concern is that Jamie and Amanda have been through so much and broken up before - she just doesn't want to see anyone get hurt. Janet is panic stricken at the idea, believing that she needs to protect her daughter at all costs. Babe manages to get away from Janet during this rant long enough to pick up her son. Janet continues to beg for information Babe doesn't have, and gets more and more upset at being in the dark. Babe finally tells Janet that she didn't want any trouble, didn't mean to upset her and doesn't know anything. She then says that she needs to go take her son to the swings, as promised, and leaves. Janet starts to follow but the bodyguard gets in the way. Once Janet is alone again, she notes aloud that Babe clearly hasn't learned her lesson.

Kendall meets up with her beloved at his office, and after a loving hello, she asks him to bare his deepest darkest secrets. After a quip or two, he asks what brought on the question. She tells him that she had just been with Ryan and that she took the opportunity to tell him about their re-marriage. She relays Ryan's sentiment that she doesn't really know everything about Zach. Zach tells her that he has one secret, and confesses that he told Erica their happy news. He tells his bride that her mother wasn't elated, but she didn't throw furniture - and he thinks that's a good sign. Getting back to her agenda, Kendall starts to ask about things from Zach's past that might not be all that savory, saying that she bragged that she knew everything when really she just has the basics. Zach tells her that the basics are all she needs, and asks what Ryan said to get her going. She tries to play it off, as if Ryan didn't comment, but reading her like the open book she professed to be, Zach hooks her by asking if Ryan found what he was looking for when he broke into the office. Kendall is taken aback at the accusation, but Zach assures her that he has it all on disc as proof. She asks what Ryan might be looking for, but Zach insists that he doesn't know. She then asks why he kept that from her, and he tells her simply that he was trying to continue getting along with Ryan, and he didn't want to upset her. He tells her that Ryan is trying to discredit him when there is no need. Kendall reminds Zach that she broke things off with Ethan when he couldn't be honest with her - even after she gave him plenty of chances. Zach agrees that no one likes to be lied to - and she tells him that if he is hiding something, he needs to come clean now.

At the clinic, Ryan asks Greg what happened to the back up generators the night of the blackout. After being assured that Ryan wasn't planning on causing any trouble, Greg tells him that he doesn't understand the goings on of that evening himself - because they should have been impossible. He explains that when he bought the clinic, he made sure that the generators were up to code and notes that they were regularly maintained, as they were key to the success of the clinic. He was just as stunned as everyone when they failed. Ryan asks if the technicians were able to tell him what happened, and Greg tells him that basically - something interfered with the relay that is supposed to make the generators come on in the event of a power failure. Ryan notes that it might be a person rather than a thing. Greg admits that he never thought that deliberate sabotage was an option, and therefore he never reported it to the police. Ryan says that if that theory holds to be true, everyone was sabotaged.

JR goes to the park to meet Babe and their son, where he overhears Babe leaving a message for Jamie. Babe explains that she may have blown his cover with Amanda's mom and wanted to give him a heads up. JR believes her, which surprises Babe. JR goes over to shovel snow into a toy truck with Little Adam, but instead, they find a one dollar bill. Babe tells JR that he planted the dollar bill and together, they share a laugh and hug. Winifred brings JR some paperwork and Winifred takes Little Adam back home. JR tells Babe he had a prenuptial agreement drawn up, but Babe does not seem to mind. She tells him that she loves him, not his money, and will sign it. JR claims the prenuptial agreement basically claims that they are each entitled to what is already theirs. Babe reads over the agreement, but stops when she sees something that makes her angry.

Back at Janet's workroom, Janet tears up and curses at Jamie picture in her scrapbook. She pulls out a newspaper article which announces Jamie inheriting a fortune, then thinks he must pay for lying to Amanda. In the mirror, Janet's twin explains that Babe never said Jamie betrayed Amanda, but Janet disagrees. Janet puts some boxes in front of her escapee hole.

Jamie goes to New Beginnings to see Amanda, who is leaving messages for her father again. Amanda explains her horrible day to Jamie, where she was blamed for all of Erica's disasters, thanks to Josh. Jamie asks Amanda if everything is OK with her father. Amanda explains that Janet said her father is on a business trip, but when she talks to him, she feels like everything is be OK. Jamie assures Amanda that until she talks to her father, he can make her feel safe, but knows something else is bothering her. Amanda pretends that it's Babe, but Jamie does not buy it. She tells them that Babe and JR changed her life and caused the blackouts. They don't even care about her, she adds. Amanda starts to blurt out what her mother did, but says her mother is just being extra clingy since Trevor is out of town. Amanda picks up a tabloid when she sees a headline announcing Jonathan has been locked back up in jail. She quickly puts it down and tells Jamie she has to run some errands alone. When Amanda goes to check on Janet, Janet immediately asks her if she is really happy with Jamie. Outside, Jamie follows Amanda's trail. Amanda says Jamie just told her how much he cares about her, but Janet claims Jamie is part of some big scheme. Amanda tries to get her mother to take her medication, but Janet claims Jamie is part Babe and JR's plan to hurt her.

Ryan goes to see Tad, in hopes that he will bring down Zach to protect Kendall. He tells Tad about the two blackouts and Zach's possible connection to the insemination process. Tad tells Ryan that he needs evidence to prove to Kendall that he is behind the blackouts. When Ryan asks Tad to help him, Tad tells him that maybe Kendall does not need to know the truth about Zach, if his theory is true. Tad agrees to help, but wants Ryan to realize that he may not get the ending he wants. Di walks in and offers to help because Zach offered her a job at the casino. Ryan does not accept Di's offer, but Tad thinks it is a good idea because Zach would not suspect her. After all, Di and Ryan don't have any type of past connection. Tad tells Ryan that if he can trust her, so should Ryan. When Ryan asks Di why she wants to help him, Di says she has a lot of good deeds to make up for. Ryan agrees to let Di help.

Kendall tells Zach that she used to be a world-class liar, but because of her past, she does not want to lie to anyone or be lied to anymore. She asks him to reveal any secrets he may be keeping, which is probably why Ryan was snooping around Zach's office. She admits to Zach that she is afraid they are going to fall apart, but Zach assures her that won't happen. Kendall agrees to put her fears aside and they share a kiss.

At Zach's casino, Erica is preparing to tape her talk show. As people are bustling around, she spots a red gel, which upsets her because she wanted a dreamy look. The crew is silent, except Josh who is smiling, as she yells for everyone to hurry up. She goes over to the bar and turns around to see an alive and well Michael Cambias offering her a drink. Josh grabs her arm, but when she turns back, Michael is gone. Josh promises to fix the lighting, but Erica snaps that he needs to job because she already knows how to do hers. She goes up to Zach's office, where she sees Zach kissing Erica. Hyped on the drugs Josh gave her, Erica thinks Zach is Michael. Kendall turns around and Erica drags her away, thinking she is in danger. Erica brings up what "that man" did her Bianca and Kendall gets confused. Erica tells them she needs to do her show, but Josh walks up just in time. Kendall does not want Erica to do the show, but Erica persists she is ready.

Kendall and Zach goes downstairs to see Erica taping her show. Erica thinks she is in Los Angles, about to star as "Desiree" in a show. She gets upset when her music is not ready, so Kendall steps in to remind her that she is on New Beginnings. Erica continues to think she is about to perform in Vegas and tells Kendall she works alone. Josh tells a reporter to stay and watch the story of the year unfold. Erica calls for her water, but sees Michael again behind the bar. Michael disappears and a bartender goes behind the counter. Kendall calls out if someone drugged Erica, as her mother lays on the counter seductively. Michael comes from the audience and begins to clap, telling her to shake her moneymaker. Zach goes over to Erica and asks her to take his hand so he can help her. Suddenly, Erica sees Zach turn into Michael. She takes a butcher knife from the counter and stabs Zach in the stomach.
