Donna moved Eric into the guesthouse, and there, he took breathing treatments and medication while they reminisced about Eric's life. Eric insisted on moving up the party to that very evening, and Eric's family worried about whether they could maintain their composure throughout the event. Zende confronted R.J. again about designing with Eric, and Ridge told Zende the truth about Eric. When Thorne and Bridget arrived in town for the event, Ridge informed each of them of their father's condition. As the party got underway, Finn worked late in his office, telling his mother that the work was important. Eric had special moments with each of his guests. By evening's end, he figured out that he hadn't won the fashion challenge. Eric thanked Ridge for the most loving gesture before passing out on the floor.

Evidence pointed to Agent Forsyth as the culprit responsible for the fire at Anna's house Brennan invited Carly to dinner, but she declined because she was in a relationship with Drew. T.J. and Molly officially asked Kristina to be their surrogate. Blaze confided that that she couldn't be open about her sexuality because her family was very conservative. Marshall had a heavenly visit from Irene. Portia told Curtis that a trial treatment might help him walk again. Spencer said goodbye to Esme and Ace when they moved out of Laura's apartment. Josslyn caught Adam lying to his father. A stressed-out Adam continued to rely on pills to help him study. Martin and Alexis prepped Finn for his deposition. To honor Lila, Olivia and Lois decided to decorate the Quartermaine mansion for Christmas. Chase and Brook Lynn announced that they were getting married. Tracy returned to Port Charles.

Jill proposed that she and Mamie declare a truce. Jill begged Billy to join her at Chancellor-Winters, but he opted to stay at Jabot. Ashley reneged on her offer to allow Tucker to take over Glissade. Tucker ordered his attorney to find a way to oust Ashley from Glissade. Ashley realized that Tucker wanted to use Glissade to destroy Jabot. Jill and the Abbotts united to turn the tables on Tucker, and they plotted to release the damaging information they had on him. Phyllis was dismayed when she spied Danny and Christine kissing. Michael encouraged a depressed Phyllis to embrace the second chance she'd been given. Danny arranged a romantic, home-cooked dinner for Christine. Nate discovered that Tucker and Audra planned to take over Jabot. Despite warnings from Victor, Nikki, and Nate, Lily and Devon invited Nate to return to Chancellor-Winters. Lucy moved in with Daniel. Lily learned that Mattie's school was in lockdown due to a fire, and she left town to be close to her daughter. Lily declined Daniel's offer to go with her.
