Hope urged Deacon to convey his feelings to Brooke but was stunned when he whipped out a ring and proposed marriage to Brooke. Brooke was flattered by his and Bill's declarations of love but said Ridge was the only man for her. Taylor bought Wyatt's beach house to give to Ridge, saying it was their private hideaway. Paris pressured Hope into saying Thomas was hot and then told Thomas about it. Liam asked Douglas if it was time to return home. The resistant Douglas took Liam to talk to his parents about it, and Hope said things could stay the same "for now." Douglas asked if he, Hope, Beth, and Thomas could have a family weekend together, leaving Liam feeling frozen out.

Victor made veiled threats to force Nikolas to divorce Ava. Despite Nikolas' objections, Victor decided to move into Wyndemere. After Ava discovered that Victor had stolen Nikolas' confession, she decided to confront Victor, but Nikolas interceded and stopped her. Anna was arrested for shooting Lucy when Arden discovered incriminating evidence planted in Anna's car and in Anna's home. Robert and Holly vowed to help Anna take down Victor. Cody and Mac took a DNA test. Britt hired Sam to investigate the origins of the necklace found in Peter's safe deposit box. Elizabeth left Cameron in charge of his brothers, while Elizabeth and Terry took a trip to Monterey. Terry arranged to meet Elizabeth's parents at a coffee shop while Elizabeth broke into her parents' home. Jeff walked in on his daughter. Finn realized Elizabeth had been deceptive about her travel plans. Drew and Carly grew closer, and they decided to explore a romantic relationship. Carly decided to officially take the Spencer name, and Bobbie gave Carly her blessings. Drew ran into Josslyn at Oscar's Meadow. Chase and Brook Lynn spent the night together. Heather Webber was taken in for treatment at the hospital. Willow received bad news.

Devon contemplated whether there was any truth to Nate's accusation that Devon wasn't over Neil's death. Chance surprised Abby with a night out, but he was called away to work. Chance seemed irritated when he returned and found Abby comforting Devon. Devon confided to Tucker that Nate had been the mole at Chancellor-Winters. Devon and Nate attempted to talk things out, but tensions mounted again when Nate continued to refuse to name the CEO he'd been conspiring with. Tucker was livid when he learned about Diane's confession to Jack, and he threatened to make her life difficult if she'd ruined his chance to reunite with Ashley. Ashley demanded that Tucker tell her everything about his connection with Diane in L.A. Victoria offered Nate the CEO position at Newman Media and forced Nick to fire Sally and Chloe. Lily informed Devon that Billy intended to leave Chancellor-Winters. Devon admitted that things had become strained between him and Amanda. Johnny and Connor bonded over the awkwardness of finding out Chelsea was Johnny's birth mother. Chelsea's friends and family became increasingly worried that something seemed off with her. Chelsea's feelings of anxiety and depression escalated, and she was tormented by critical voices in her head. On the roof of the Grand Phoenix, Chelsea looked to the ground below and considered ending her pain.
