Eric comforted Brooke and urged her to fight for her marriage. Brooke let Ridge know she intended to fight against the strange forces at work to get their marriage back. Hope and Liam assured Brooke that as long as she was married to Ridge, she had a chance. Bridget informed Brooke that Bridget was working in Los Angeles for a while. Steffy overheard Thomas and Sheila on the phone, discussing Sheila's plot against Brooke. After divulging the information to Finn, Steffy went to Il Giardino and confronted Sheila in the back alley. Sheila begged Steffy not to tell anyone else her secret, but when Steffy vowed to make sure Sheila would be out of Finn and Hayes's lives, Sheila pulled a gun on Steffy and fired. The bullet hit Finn, who'd at that moment rushed into the alley. As Finn lay dying, Sheila turned the gun on Steffy.

Harmony became uneasy when Phyllis recalled how close Harmony and Madeline Reeves had been during Nina's pregnancy. Harmony was revealed to have murdered Dr. Neil Byrne as he slept next to Alexis. Neil's brother Brendan paid Alexis a visit. Trina was arrested when the cell phone that Esme had planted in Trina's bag was turned over to the police. Scott agreed to represent Trina, and Trina pleaded not guilty at her arraignment, despite being offered a plea deal. Sonny put Esme on notice. Victor gave Sonny a warning. Both Spencer and Esme moved into Wyndemere. Spencer continued to question Esme's innocence in the revenge porn scheme. Sonny asked Brick to fill the void that Jason had left. Brick agreed to investigate Esme. Brando and Sasha returned from their honeymoon, but Sasha continued to struggle. Sasha reached out to Siena for more drugs. Chase turned down Brook Lynn's request to perform a duet with Amy at the upcoming party for Deception. Nina decided to take Michael and Willow to court for visitation with Wiley.

Nick and Billy were stunned when they witnessed Victoria in Ashland's arms after she'd learned of her husband's deception. Victoria tried to convince her family to let her handle Ashland by telling him she still loved him and believed in him. Victor vowed to remove Ashland from the family and the company by any means necessary. Victoria suggested that she and Ashland get away from her clan by spending time at their Tuscan villa. Victor appointed Adam as temporary CEO of Newman Locke. Ashland fumed when he learned Michael had escaped. A shaken Michael returned home and reunited with his family. Animosity toward Ashland grew as word of his cancer ruse spread. Lauren objected to Michael continuing to work for Victor. Nick encouraged Billy to try to get through to Victoria. Ashley was suspicious when she heard Jack had a long-lost granddaughter. Jack and Allie got to know one another. "Taylor" manipulated Allie into luring Jack to Keemo's former home, where Jack was floored to face Diane. Diane apologized for faking her death with Deacon Sharpe's help. Diane swore she'd become a new person, but Jack blasted her for the pain she'd caused. Jack refused to help Diane reconnect with Kyle. Chance told Abby that his therapist had recommended he return to work. Abby worried that Chance hadn't yet healed from his trauma, but she agreed to support the decision. Rey welcomed Chance back to the police force. Sharon was concerned about Noah's constant partying.
