Thomas was torn about whether to reveal Sheila's secret to Ridge, and after Thomas learned exactly how Sheila had tricked Brooke, he puzzled Steffy with his sympathy for Brooke. Deacon tried to get Brooke to stop beating herself up and to open her eyes about Ridge. Deacon pitched himself as a love interest, but Brooke said her heart belonged to Ridge. Sheila chatted up Taylor, and Taylor revealed her concerns about the mystery that had made Brooke drink. When Ridge stopped by to check on Brooke, she surprised him by offering to let him go and to give him a painless divorce. Although Ridge told Brooke that the only life he wanted was with her, he went to the cliff house and passionately kissed Taylor. Grace expressed her confidence to Zende that Paris would accept a marriage proposal from him. Carter and Paris professed love for each other, and Grace was horrified to find Paris half naked at Carter's place. Grace tried to drag Paris away, but Paris insisted that she loved Carter.

Orpheus warned Clyde to silence E.J. before he remembered the shooting. E.J. remembered that Clyde was responsible for E.J.'s shooting. Devil Johnny and Gabi betrayed Jake and took over DiMera. The devil revealed himself to Jake but then wiped Jake's memory. Ben and Ciara told Susan that they believed Johnny was possessed. Susan asked Johnny if he was possessed, and he redirected her suspicion to Belle. Chanel begged Tripp to give Allie a second chance. Ben and Jake discussed whether Johnny was the devil. Marlena's practice fell apart, and she asked Justin for help. John warned Brady not to interfere in Craig's life. Bonnie gave Nancy a makeover. Lani met with T.R. to talk. Eli investigated T.R. At Chloe's invitation, Will and Sonny visited Salem to talk to Craig. Craig was unmoved by Sonny, and he committed to Leo.

Esme reunited with her father -- Ryan Chamberlain. Ryan was revealed to have full faculties of speech and movement. Esme assured her father that she remained loyal to him, and she promised to prove it. Ryan reminded Esme to focus on their mission to drive Nikolas and Ava apart. Cameron and Josslyn were horrified that someone had recorded their first time being intimate. Josslyn confronted Esme about the leaked video, but Esme pointed the finger at Trina. Josslyn leaned on her mother for support. Trina ran into Spencer while he was visiting his mother's grave. Portia and Curtis bought Jax's house. Nina threatened to take Michael and Willow to court for visitation with Wiley, but Sonny asked Nina for an opportunity to talk to Michael first. Britt and Maxie helped Drew, Dante, and Sam set a trap for Victor. Victor believed that he had the key to controlling Drew's mind. Victor persuaded Nikolas and Ava to invite Spencer to their vow renewal. Anna and Felicia decided to fly to Austria to take a second look at the events surrounding Luke's death. Elizabeth decided it would be best for her to focus on her family instead of a relationship with Finn. Jake was upset when Elizabeth told him that she had made an appointment for him with his therapist. Brando and Sasha eloped.

Ashland told Victoria about Victor's accusation that Ashland had falsified his medical records. Victoria believed Ashland's claim that someone was trying to set him up. At Victoria's urging, Ashland signed the document that named him co-CEO of Newman Locke. Adam hoped the rift between Victor and Victoria would work in Adam's favor. Victor learned that Michael and the two Peruvian doctors who'd implicated Ashland had disappeared. Lauren became increasingly worried when she was unable to reach Michael. Kevin offered to dig into Michael's disappearance. Victor and Nick sought Nate's help to expose Ashland's lies. Nate began to have doubts about Ashland. Jack and Phyllis went through a box of Keemo's mementos in L.A. Later, someone left a photo of a young woman at Keemo's house, with a name and phone number written on the back. Jack summoned the woman, Allie, to the house, and she seemed taken aback when he revealed that he was Keemo's father. Traci advised Billy to try meditation. Devon agreed to keep an open mind about Lily's idea of merging their companies. Lily reassured Billy when he voiced his concerns about where he would fit in if the merger took place. Chance pushed through a therapy session where he relived the trauma he'd experienced in Spain, and he later snapped at Abby. Sharon and Rey had trouble finding time alone. Faith quizzed Mariah and Tessa about love. Sharon was pleased when Noah began dating again.
