Quinn walked away from Carter, Sheila and Deacon kissed, and Donna got a rise from Eric

Katie set out to berate Carter for hurting Eric but wound up making a friend. Bill begged Katie for another chance, but Katie revealed to Carter that it was over for her and Bill. Paris and Zende made love in Eric's guesthouse. Sheila and Deacon arranged for their kids to catch them kissing at Il Giardino, but Finn and Hope found it hard to believe that their parents had just so happened to fall in love. After Brooke insisted that Eric and Donna talk, Donna revealed that he'd always been the love of her life. Donna flicked open a honey bottle, and with just one taste, Eric said he was more than remembering their time together.

Marlena gave Johnny her blessing to make his movie. Philip watched Chloe enter the Salem Inn with Brady. Justin told Bonnie that he still wanted to marry her. Chad and Abigail discussed Gwen's secret. Victor negotiated with Trask for Justin and Xander's release. Steve stole E.J.'s phone to get information on Kristen. When Jake confronted Carmine, Carmine accidentally shot Abe. Marlena gave in to the devil. Devil Marlena urged Paulina to tell Abe and Lani the truth. Eli escorted Julie to Bayview, but Marlena intervened. John listened to the recording of Doug's first therapy session, but Doug's voice was missing. Gabi asked Ciara to talk to Victor about Philip's plans to steal Gabi Chic. Eli interrupted before Paulina could tell Lani that she was Lani's mother. Rafe arrested Jake for Abe's shooting. Devil Marlena plotted to murder Julie. The devil revealed himself to John.

Peter shot Valentin, Spencer pleaded not guilty in court, and Nina was arrested for identity fraud

Peter shot Valentin as the WSB descended on Victor's compound. Valentin was airlifted to a nearby consulate for treatment. Peter made it appear that Drew had been shot and drowned during the shootout, but Drew swam to safety. Under Peter's control, Drew helped Peter abduct Liesl and flee the compound. After Anna called Britt with an update on Liesl, Jason and Britt flew to Greece. Dante took Victor into custody, and Victor offered to help the WSB capture Peter in exchange for blanket immunity. Ava extended Spencer an olive branch to avoid jail, but he turned her down. Spencer was furious that Nikolas had put Ava in charge of Spencer's trust fund. Spencer pleaded not guilty at his arraignment. Kevin posted bail for Spencer. Kevin advised Spencer to get a job. Sonny and Nina each offered to buy Charlie's Pub for Phyllis. Willow was disappointed that Michael had taken steps to have Nina pay for her crimes when Nina had kept Sonny from his family. Nina was arrested. After a talk with Monica, Austin decided to drop his lawsuit against the Quartermaines, but he warned Brook Lynn that it was far from over. Olivia informed Ned that she wanted a divorce. Liz and Finn made plans for a date. Liz was not pleased when Terry revealed that Jeff Webber had reached out to her because Liz hadn't returned any of his phone calls. An older Black man spied on Curtis and Portia.

Lily was pleased when Billy opted to delete Gaines's incriminating video. Sally was irked when Adam abandoned her at the wedding reception to tend to some family business. Adam and Sally later shared a private toast, which led to a passionate kiss. Adam pulled back from the embrace because he wasn't emotionally ready. Nick lashed out at Victor for leaving him out of the loop about the threat Gaines had posed at the wedding. The tension between Nick and Phyllis grew when he rejected her help with his family problems. Phyllis confided in Jack, and Sally snapped a photo of them during a close moment. Victor and Adam evaded questions about how they'd handled Gaines. Victor openly threatened to take everything from Billy. Billy and Lily planned to investigate Gaines's disappearance in the hope of implicating Adam and crushing Newman Media. Lauren chided Chloe and Sally for stabbing her in the back by scheming to swap wedding dresses. Tessa opened up to Noah about her problems with Mariah. Mariah realized that she'd been unfair to push Tessa to have a baby, and they made amends. Noah decided to return to Genoa City, but he remained tight-lipped about why he'd wanted to leave London. Abby became increasingly frustrated by Chance's ongoing absence. Abby went into denial when Christine informed her that a bomb explosion had obliterated the building where Chance had been stationed and that there were no known survivors.
