Zoe's sister, Paris, arrived unannounced, and Thomas received a deadly command

Quinn ordered Shauna out of her house. Insisting that she was on Quinn's side, Shauna promised to plead Quinn's case to Eric before moving out. Shauna told Eric that she needed to leave so that he and Quinn could reconcile, but Eric refused to let Shauna go anywhere. Paris Buckingham arrived in town and was instantly drawn to Zende. As Paris beamed about him to Zoe, Zoe warned Paris not to get ahead of herself with Zende. Liam discovered Thomas alone in his apartment with the Hope mannequin and disbelieved Thomas' story that it was for work. After Liam had left, the mannequin urged Thomas to do what he had to do -- kill Liam.

Claire asked Tripp why he had agreed to take part in a DNA test, and he said he had not. John and Steve continued to butt heads. Shawn arrested Vincent and Ben, and Vincent insisted he had shot and killed Ciara. A concussed Eli made Brady promise not to tell Lani the truth about his blackmail. Kayla confirmed that Tripp was Henry's father, and Tripp pleaded with Steve to believe him instead of the test results. Allie decided to press charges against Tripp. Jake flirted with Kate. Justin admitted to Jack that he liked Bonnie. Jake bailed Ben out of jail. John and Marlena celebrated their wedding anniversary. Chad invited Kate to the party, and she asked Jake to be her date. Gwen organized a visit from J.J. and Theo. Steve and Kayla fought about Tripp. Gwen planted a letter in Kate's closet for Abigail to find. Abigail found the letter from Jack to Kate, and Abigail confronted her father in front of everyone at his party.

On election day, Josslyn and Trina learned about the struggles that the women of Port Charles had faced when they'd first cast their votes a hundred years earlier. Ava discovered that Taggert was alive. Taggert shared incriminating information about Julian and Nelle with Sonny. Julian cut a deal with Cyrus to silence Ryan. Sonny and Ava were shocked when they found Ryan barely clinging to life with a knife in his back. Portia joined forces with Jordan and Curtis to buy the police commissioner time to dig into Cyrus' past. Franco confided to Kevin about the brain tumor. Later, Franco asked Jason to kill him if Jason saw signs of Franco's homicidal nature returning. Alex's plan to hide in plain sight by taking over Anna's life went awry when Anna and Valentin managed to escape Alex's deadly clutches. Alex connected with Peter, but she was careful not to give herself away. Alex shot Finn, and she kidnapped Maxie. Sam warned Alexis that she would not allow Alexis near the children if Alexis refused to get sober. Peter confronted Spinelli about the phone call from Helena. Jackie told Chase that she and his father were divorcing.

Theo livened up Dina's memorial reception by playing an upbeat song Dina had loved, and Kyle stormed out. Theo became increasingly incensed about being excluded from the Abbott family when he learned Dina had bequeathed him nothing but a pen in her will. Victor requested Chelsea's help with finding out what Adam was up to; in turn, Chelsea asked that Victor convince Victoria to let her see Johnny. Chelsea snooped on Adam's computer and was horrified by what he was planning. Someone abducted Chelsea and stashed her in a dingy room, where she was drugged and suffered from hallucinations. Adam had visions of a younger version of himself as he grappled with his conscience. Adam received a package with a mysterious metal container. Chloe implored Chance to look into Chelsea's disappearance. Victor insisted on staging an intervention for Adam. Victoria plotted to ambush Adam with a document that forfeited his rights to the Newman fortune. Nick forced Victoria and Phyllis to find a way to work together to make the Grand Phoenix a success. Summer was suspicious of Jordan and Faith's friendship. Faith sneaked out to attend a party with some older kids, but she was devastated when a classmate called her a loser. Faith blew up upon finding Adam with Sharon. Sally Spectra arrived in Genoa City and begrudgingly agreed to become Lauren's assistant. Billy and Lily struggled to keep things professional after their kiss in the elevator.
