Carter asked Zoe to marry him, prompting Zende to make his own declaration

Steffy and Hope made excuses for why Thomas would have the mannequin in his home, and Hope decided to let him keep it for inspiration. Liam insisted that it was proof that Thomas was obsessed with Hope; however, Hope asked Liam to give Thomas the benefit of the doubt for Douglas' sake. Finn and Steffy advised Liam that Hope would be happier if Liam concentrated more on her and their family and less on Steffy and Thomas. Wyatt tried to intercede in his mother's marital problems and was surprised to learn that Shauna was still living at the mansion. A fire alarm went off in the middle of Carter's marriage proposal to Zoe, and Zende gave Zoe a lot to think about before she agreed to marry Carter.

Jack told Jennifer about why he had had a one-night stand with Kate, and Jennifer slapped him. Abigail confronted Jack, and he yelled at her for hurting her mother in public. Jake and Kate slept together. Gwen celebrated her victory in her plot to drive a wedge between Abigail and her parents. Claire kissed Theo, and Charlie saw it. Xander discovered an irregularity with Philip's finances, but Philip convinced Victor it was nothing. Belle proposed to Shawn. Claire and Charlie decided to date. Philip pleaded guilty to end Jan's case. Sarah overheard Philip's phone call, and she shared her suspicions with Xander. Trask declined to prosecute Tripp, and Tripp asked Allie not to file a case in London. Lani recorded Eli's conversation with Abe, and she asked Brady to tell her about Eli's secret. Ava Vitali returned to Salem and ordered Philip to deal with Xander -- or else.

Josslyn was taken aback when Dev lashed out at her about Oscar. Jackie called Gregory to let him know that Finn had been shot. Gregory raced to his son's side as Finn recovered from the shooting. Anna gravely wounded Alex during a shootout on the Haunted Star. Alex was presumed killed when she threw herself overboard in open waters. Anna lied to Finn about the test results of Faison's genetic markers. Peter walked in on Dante downloading files from Peter's computer, but Dante managed to explain his presence in Peter's office. Franco revealed to Liz that his brain tumor was back. Jordan and Curtis crossed paths with Laura on their search for information about Cyrus' past. Laura reached out to a mystery person when she learned that Cyrus was interested in an old case. Carly asked Brando to watch over Sasha. Sasha collapsed after Cyrus gave her drugs. Chase confided the truth to Brook Lynn about his ruse with Sasha. Michael and Willow decided not to sign their annulment papers. Phyllis told Nina about the baby girl that Nina had given birth to. Carly recognized Avery's new good luck charm -- Nelle's necklace.

Abby happily accepted Chance's marriage proposal. Adam prepared to set off explosives at Newman Tower. Adam learned Chelsea had escaped, and Chance tailed him to the building where she'd been held hostage. Chance spotted someone pointing a gun at Adam and was shot as he pushed Adam out of the way. Adam fled the scene after calling for an ambulance. Adam called off his plans to detonate the explosives. Chance croaked Adam's name before being rushed into surgery. Chance survived but battled an infection. Chelsea resurfaced at the Chancellor mansion and told Rey about the schematics she'd discovered on Adam's computer. Chelsea was appalled when she learned she was a suspect in the shooting. Adam begged Chelsea for another chance. Adam was sure that Billy had been the shooter. Abby asked Mariah to be her maid of honor, and Devon agreed to preside over the wedding ceremony. Nate agreed to stay in town if Elena returned to work at the clinic. Elena admitted that she had feelings for Nate. Devon invited Amanda out to dinner. Phyllis realized that Faith was hungover, but Faith pleaded with her not to tell Nick that Faith had been drinking. Theo met with Brittany to contest Dina's will. Sally angled to run Jabot Collective for Fenmore's, but Lauren had someone else in mind for the job. Summer and Kyle shared that they still loved one another, and he offered to give her time before taking the next step.
