Ridge tried to hold things together with Thomas' line as he and Steffy anxiously waited for Thomas to show up at work. Ridge grilled Hope about Thomas' whereabouts, and she revealed that Thomas was dead. Brooke misconstrued to Ridge what Hope meant by that and revealed that Thomas had tried to extort sex out of Hope. Later, Brooke decided to meet Ridge to tell him the truth. Thomas revealed himself to Hope and told her that he'd allowed her to believe that he was dead to get her to understand why he'd kept the secret about Beth.

Marlena returned from her work sabbatical; she asked "Hope" to move out of the penthouse, but John intervened. Jack returned the hourglass to John and Marlena. Sonny spent time with Evan. Kate urged Will to reconsider his decision to tell Sonny not to visit anymore. Clyde ordered a man named Ray to kidnap Mackenzie as leverage to force Xander to confess to Jordan's murder. Clyde warned Ben that he would not return Mackenzie until both he and Ben were released from prison. Ciara visited Ray and attempted to trick him into getting drunk so that she could take Mackenzie from him. Jennifer learned about Adrienne's death and Justin's relationship with Kayla, and she took it poorly. Eve convinced Abigail to investigate and make sure who had assaulted Jennifer. Gina warned Stefano not to meet with Chad, but he agreed to meet with Chad in a hotel room. Without Victor's blessing, Xander wrote a confession in order to save Mackenzie. Eric proposed to Nicole.

The judge agreed to recommend early release for Sam because there had been mitigating circumstances. Monica invited Danny and Scout to live with her. Liesl and Lucas traded words about Brad, prompting Lucas to question what Brad was hiding. Brook Lynn returned to the family fold. "Drew" told Kim that he had learned some things about Franco, and he felt that he owed it to Franco to undergo the memory mapping reversal. Heartbroken, Kim left town. T.J.'s suspicions were proven correct; Alexis had thallium poisoning. Stella was saddened when she paid Mike a visit. Anna admitted to Finn that she had more questions than answers about her twin. Anna's attempt to clear the air with Hayden did not go well. Olivia was crushed when she received the letters that she'd written to Dante, unopened. Valentin went to Shadybrook to pay Ava a visit. Ava warned Valentin that the painting of Helena Cassadine was stashed where Valentin would never find it. Nikolas slipped into Wyndemere, and he overheard Valentin offer Hayden money in exchange for information. Nina made a confession to Jax. Jax told Nikolas that he was done keeping secrets.

Devon reeled from the possibility he'd been scammed out of his fortune. Jill tracked down Colin in the Maldives, and he claimed the new will pages were authentic. Jill smacked Colin before kissing him. Chance determined that the Grand Phoenix's security system had been reinstalled, and he informed Abby that someone could have hacked into any device logged onto the server. Abby accused Phyllis of the deed and threatened to fire her. Summer encouraged Theo to take the job with Ashley in Paris. Theo accepted Ashley's offer but later had a change of heart when Jack offered him a job at Jabot. Billy resigned from Jabot, and Jack returned as CEO, naming Kyle and Lauren as co-COOs. Kyle reeled when he learned Jack had hired Theo. The medical board reinstated Nate's medical license. Amanda and Nate enjoyed their friendship but drew the line at dating. Nick warned that Simon would answer to him if Simon went after Chelsea or Connor. Simon offered to give the Feds information about Colin. Nick was troubled because of the time Chelsea was spending with Adam. Nick and Phyllis bonded over their woes.
