Shauna explained to Ridge that she'd spent the night watching over him as he slept off his booze binge, and they decided to keep the incident between the two of them. Danny spotted Shauna exiting a room containing an unmade bed. Shauna asked Quinn to endorse Flo and Wyatt's relationship. Flo reached out to repair her relationship with Wyatt and told him that she believed she was supposed to spend her life with him. Sally remained unsure of giving in to her relationship with Wyatt, and he proposed marriage to her. Katie fell ill, and just as Bill decided to take her to the doctor, she collapsed on the floor.

Maggie warned Victor to leave Ben alone, but Victor would not listen. Vivian attempted to finish off Kate, and Kate fell into a coma. Xander comforted Sarah, and she decided to get an abortion. Nicole and Eric made love. Eve denied that she had destroyed Rolf's new serum or the lab. Kristen testified in court to help Tony, and he walked free. Brady struggled to resist Kristen. Kristen concocted a scheme to steal Sarah's fetus and pass it off as her own. Stefan provided Vivian an alibi for the shooting, but he warned his mother to stay away from Kate. Dr. Henry Shah kidnapped Jennifer, and Jack and J.J. raced to find her.

Cassandra's mystery accomplice arranged for Alexis to represent Cassandra in her bid to fight extradition to the Hauge to await trial for her crimes. Valentin informed Cassandra that she could no longer hold Claudette over his head because Claudette had flown the coop two years earlier. Kim gave in to temptation and made love to Franco. Liz was forced to take action when she realized that Franco and Kim planned to leave town together. Peter paid a hit man to kill Shiloh. Sam, Kristina, and Willow testified against Shiloh. Spinelli overheard Peter on the phone with the hit man. Bobbie encountered a police officer at an accident scene, unaware that he was Shiloh in disguise. Julian changed his mind about tampering with Liesl's car, and he informed Brad to do whatever was necessary to placate Liesl. Sasha confessed to Michael that she was not Nina's daughter. Michael was hurt by the deception, but he decided to give Sasha a second chance.

Genoa City was rocked by the news of Victor Newman's death. Nick blamed Adam for Victor's demise. Nikki begged Paul to open a police investigation, and lab tests revealed that Victor's pills had contained a double dose of medication. Summer rebuffed Phyllis' attempts to provide support. Theo opened up to Summer about losing his father at a young age. Kyle comforted Summer. Nick convinced Chelsea to keep Adam from seeing Connor. With Victoria's help, Billy remembered trying to kill Adam. Billy battled his dark side in his mind and believed that he'd vanquished it. Jack and Sharon were pleasantly surprised to run into one another while on their soul-searching trips. Sharon resolved to no longer let her romantic relationships define her. Jack realized that he already had what he'd thought he'd been looking for. Sharon believed Adam's claim that he hadn't wanted Victor dead. Paul and Rey interrogated the pharmacist who had supplied Adam with the altered pills. The pharmacist claimed that Victoria had instructed her to double the dosage and forge the prescription label. A search turned up a prescription pill bottle and Nate's tablet in Victoria's office. Attorney Amanda Sinclair showed up for a meeting with Devon, and he was stunned to see that she was the spitting image of Hilary. Amanda informed Devon that Chance was contesting the validity of Katherine's will because Katherine's attorney had made a deathbed confession that Tucker had paid him to change it.
