Liam, under the influence of a drug Thomas had sneaked into Liam's drink, upset Hope with his unusual behavior at the beach party. That night, Liam slept with Steffy and told Hope about it the next morning. Thomas put Douglas up to proposing to Hope on the Fourth of July, and Hope found it hard to believe that Douglas had put the proposal together on his own. When Liam heard about the proposal, he vowed to stop it. Xander checked security footage at the Forrester building and deduced that Thomas had followed Emma the night of her death. Xander became convinced that Thomas was a murderer.

A mystery woman booked a flight to Port Charles for July 12. Stella received unexpected feedback from an ancestry website about her search. Bobbie was taken aback when Scott proposed marriage to her, but she would only agree to go on a date with him. After fleeing Beechers Corners, Jason went into hiding. Jason sneaked into Pentonville to talk to Harmony about her husband's death. Harmony revealed a damaging detail that implicated Shiloh in murder. Billy Price arrived in Port Charles to demand help apprehending Jason and Michael, but Mac made it clear that Billy didn't have jurisdiction in Mac's town. The governor appointed a new district attorney -- Robert Scorpio. Laura had a heart-to-heart talk with Cameron about Franco. Sonny reached out to Brick for help securing the proper documents for Dev. Ava arranged to meet a psychic in the hopes of making contact with Kiki. Shiloh got his hands on a sample of Wiley's DNA that he hoped to use to confirm his theory that Brad and Lucas had adopted Willow's son. Chase turned to Finn for advice about Willow's incarceration. Kristina opened up to Alexis in a therapy session about the secret that Kristina had given to enter Shiloh's Trust.

Chelsea rebuffed Adam's attempt to reunite. Nick and Chelsea made amends. Calvin surprised Chelsea by showing up in Genoa City, and she seemed anxious around him. Phyllis realized that Kevin was the one who'd kidnapped her. Victoria outwitted Phyllis in a business deal. Phyllis hosted a Dark Horse party at Adam's penthouse, but only a handful of people showed up. Phyllis ended up alone after alienating her guests. After a talk with Adam, Calvin told Chelsea that they should give custody of Connor to Adam and start a family of their own. Later, Chelsea frantically called Nick with the news that Calvin was dead. Adam and Phyllis walked in on Chelsea in Nick's arms. Lola and Kyle tried to hide the fact that they'd been living together from Celeste. Lola eventually told her mother the truth, but Celeste insisted on staying with Lola and helping to plan the wedding. Celeste fawned over Jack. Theo walked out on Summer when she couldn't stop blathering about Kyle. Phyllis consoled a drunken Summer but was disappointed when their closeness proved to be short-lived. With Ana and Elena's support, Devon donated Hilary's belongings. Devon and Elena had a fun second first date at the carnival. Ana released Tessa's video without Devon's knowledge. Ana was livid when Devon wanted to hire Theo as her mentor, but she later accepted the situation. Summer walked in on Theo and Ana toasting to their working relationship. Cane asked Traci on a date.
