Steffy tried to convince Liam that Taylor was no danger to anyone. Insisting that Taylor was, Hope and Brooke pressed him to ask Taylor to leave town. Taylor battled the urge to drink and visited her A.A. sponsor for support. Reese encountered Taylor in her sponsor's office and kissed her. Zoe warned Reese not to mess things up for her by getting involved with yet another rich woman, especially the mother of Zoe's boss. Taylor informed Steffy that Taylor should leave town, but Steffy wouldn't hear of it. Instead, Steffy invited Taylor to move into the cliff house. Brooke asked Taylor to leave on her own, but Taylor announced that she was there to stay.

Abigail confided in Julie, and Julie sneaked into the DiMera mansion to find evidence against Gabi. Kayla caught Abigail snooping in her office at the hospital. Maggie gave Eric her blessing to adopt Holly, but Maggie changed her mind when Chloe gave Maggie a letter from Nicole asking Chloe to raise Holly with Parker. Eric accused Brady of pushing Chloe to fight him for custody of Holly. Kayla offered Sarah a job in Salem. Chad made a move against DiMera Enterprises.

Friends and family gathered to say goodbye to Kiki. Ava leaned on "Kevin" after the funeral. Franco and Elizabeth agreed to postpone their wedding because of Kiki's tragic death. Sasha announced that she was leaving town. When Laura revealed that Charlotte had been tormenting Aiden, Valentin and Lulu had a talk with Charlotte. Nina decided to remain living at Wyndemere to protect Charlotte from Lulu's discipline. Liesl returned to Port Charles with Anna and Finn then reached out to Valentin for help. Valentin asked Peter to drop the charges against Liesl. Chase and Willow's first date got off to a rocky start. Curtis and Sam uncovered an email address for the person who had sent Leland Powell's obituary to Sam. Julian was upset when he saw Kim and Drew during a close moment. Margaux gave Drew the flash drive with his memory mapping. Cam suggested that Oscar try marijuana when Josslyn told him that the treatment had ruined Oscar's appetite. Cam made arrangements to buy marijuana, but he called it off at the last moment. Marcus was furious when he saw Yvonne and Mike under the mistletoe.

Nikki, Victoria, and Sharon kidnapped Tessa and threatened her into answering their questions. The women left Tessa alone in the woods. Mariah prepared to break up with Tessa, but she instead rushed to the rescue when Tessa called her for help. Mariah opted to stay with Tessa, over Sharon's objections. Phyllis interrupted Rebekah's attempt to seduce Nick. Rebekah was humiliated, but she still agreed to ink a deal with the Jaboutiques. Billy hoped Phyllis would give him another chance, but she only wanted to maintain a working relationship. Nikki found the outfit J.T. had been buried in next to her in bed. Nikki secretly continued drinking. Nikki befriended Mia in an effort to sway Rey's opinion about Victor. Mia offered to leave if Rey would be happier without her, and they ended up making love. Rey warned that Nikki was only using Mia. Reed returned to town and vowed to find his father's killer. Abby decided to open a new restaurant, and she convinced Devon to partner with her and to hire Lola as their chef. Jack was miffed when Kerry stood him up, but she asked him for another chance. Jack and Kerry decorated the Abbott Christmas tree and kissed. Lauren encouraged Fen to pursue his dreams but refused to support him financially. Mattie and Cane clashed when he refused to accept her friendship with Reed. Cane had trouble getting into the holiday spirit, but he had a change of heart after a talk with Victoria.
