Passions and All My Children alum McKenzie Westmore took to social media with an important update about her health.

McKenzie Westmore (Sheridan Crane, Passions) shared on Twitter that she is battling cancer.

"That moment you're excited to just get your hair cut and find out after you have cancer," she captioned a photo of herself. Westmore noted that the cancer was "Thankfully caught early" and that it is "Time to fight." The post ended with the hashtag "#cancersucks.

Westmore previously shared that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019.

Westmore was an original Passions cast member, playing Sheridan Crane from 1999 through the series' finale in August 2008. She also appeared as Dr. Riley Sinclair on All My Children in 2008 and 2009. She is the host of Syfy's Face Off reality competition, and she has her own line of beauty products that she sells on QVC.
