The upcoming American science fiction comedy film Lilo & Stitch is directed by Dean Fleischer Camp and scripted by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright and Mike Van Waes. The film is a live-action remake of Disney's 2002 animated feature Lilo & Stitch, produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Rideback. The film is set to be released in the United States by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on May 23, 2025.

The 2002 film Lilo and Stitch centers on two characters: Lilo Pelekai, an orphaned Hawaiian girl who is raised by her struggling elder sister Nani following the loss of their parents, and Experiment 626, a genetically modified extraterrestrial creature who Lilo adopts as her "dog" and renames "Stitch." Created to wreak havoc and devastation, Stitch uses Lilo to evade being captured by an intergalactic federation. They form a strong connection through the Hawaiian idea of ʻohana, or extended family, which makes Stitch rethink his original destructive goal to save his new family.
