Fearing that Eric had TIAs or cerebrovascular disease, Donna urged Eric to tell Ridge the truth. Ridge and Carter worried about Eric's ballooning budget, but Eric chuckled at their reaction to his insistence upon adorning gowns with diamonds. Eric coughed up blood but hid it. Finn told Hope that he got her desire to chase devotion, but he questioned whether she should receive devotion from Thomas, given his history with her. Finn insisted that Hope was better than Thomas.

Valentin confessed that it wasn't the right time for them to move in together because Charlotte needed his attention. Valentin warned Martin that Charlotte might be in legal peril. The details of Victor's secret letter to Charlotte were revealed. Anna enlisted Robert's help to expose the threat to her. Chase was stunned when Tracy was forced to reveal that Gregory had ALS. Alexis found Gregory's bucket list. Spencer and Trina made the most of their romantic getaway.
