Liam attempted to get Douglas back home, to no avail, but Liam succeeded in warning Thomas about using Douglas to latch onto Hope again. Ridge told Steffy that he loved Taylor, and Steffy became convinced that her parents belonged together. Steffy anxiously told Thomas that they had to put an end to Brooke and Ridge. Taylor asked Ridge if he was ready to put their family back together. While he told her that she was his "calm," he also said he was married to Brooke because he wanted to be. Bill visited Brooke to get advice about Katie, and Ridge arrived in time to see Bill and Brooke hugging. Sheila sneaked into the cliff house and held Hayes.

Johnny asked Allie for a place to stay. Stefan attempted to woo Chloe, but she rejected him. In court, Kristen accused Brady of having murdered Philip. E.J. asked Stefan to help him destroy Gabi. Brady theorized to Chloe that Kristen was behind Stefan's return.

Sasha signed paperwork granting Brando guardianship over her. Brando fell victim to the person who had attacked Ava. Kristina's timely appearance stopped the would-be killer from driving the barbed hook into Brando a second time, but Brando was rushed to the hospital with grave injuries and extensive blood loss. The attack on Brando cleared Nikolas as a suspect in Ava's attack. Ava admitted she couldn't get past Nikolas' betrayal with Esme, but Nikolas wasn't ready to give up on their marriage. Ava told Trina the truth about Spencer's feelings for Trina and his efforts to find proof that Esme had framed Trina. Josslyn confided in Trina about Dex's help finding Avery's necklace, but Trina questioned why Josslyn hadn't told Cameron about Dex's assistance. Sonny asked Dex to keep an eye on Josslyn. A storm diverted Carly's flight to Aruba to Carly's hometown of Jacksonville. Old wounds were opened when Carly had an unpleasant -- and unexpected -- encounter with Reese Marshall's mother. Stella confessed to Jordan that Jordan and Curtis' divorce papers had never been filed. Jordan took the blame for Stella's actions, prompting Curtis to suspect that Jordan had "misplaced" the divorce papers intentionally. Selina accepted Cody's proposal to split his winnings from card games with her high roller clients.

Chloe was forced to cover when Sally missed an important marketing meeting while talking to Adam. Victoria wanted to fire Sally, but Nick insisted on giving Sally another chance. After a heart-to-heart talk, Nick and Sally had sex in her office. Adam created an awkward situation when he invited himself to join Nick and Sally for dinner. Sally later rejected Adam's attempt to reconcile. Nick and Sally surprised themselves when they ended up making love again in her hotel room. Adam was suspicious when he found Nick in Sally's room. Victor warned Jack that hiring Adam had been a huge mistake. Jack sensed that both Victor and Adam were in pain over their father-son rift. Victoria reveled in closing a series of acquisitions. Despite Lily's attempts to smooth things over between Devon and Nate, Nate quit his job at Chancellor-Winters. Nate and Elena bickered over his plan to prove to his family how capable he was. Nate blabbed to Victoria about Jill's interest in taking Chancellor-Winters public, and he offered to be Victoria's inside man to ensure Newman garnered a majority stake -- if she put him in control of his family's company. Diane accused Phyllis of planting a file on her computer to set her up, but Summer considered whether Diane had created the file to implicate Phyllis. Over Victoria's objections, Nikki flew to L.A. to quiz Deacon about Diane's past. Chance and Chelsea bonded over their mutual restlessness. Abby's fears about the state of her marriage grew.
