Deputy Chief Baker informed Ridge and Taylor that Sheila had escaped police custody during a prison transfer. Li was shocked to find Sheila on her doorstep, but Sheila was elated upon discovering that Finn was still alive. After Finn momentarily regained consciousness, Li tried to convince Sheila that Finn needed both of his mothers. Hope happened upon a slightly open door at the club and discovered Eric and Donna's affair. After a heart-to-heart with Eric, Hope advised him to make a decision about his marriage. Carter continued to agonize between desiring Quinn and having a future with Paris.

Kate lied to Chad so that he would not suspect Lucas of Abigail's murder. Kate asked Lucas if he had killed Abigail, and Lucas admitted that he did not know. Jack and Jennifer said goodbye to their daughter. Leo and Gwen accused one another of having murdered Abigail. Jack talked to Gwen about Abigail. Jake and Gabi agreed they had moved on from one another. Ava asked Gwen if she had killed Abigail. Gabi vowed to Chad that she would help him track down Abigail's killer.

Cameron appreciated the effort that Finn had made during a camping trip to Pautuck. Austin secretly met with a mystery person. Cody blackmailed Spinelli when Cody figured out that Spinelli and Zelda were in cahoots. Selina was not pleased when Cody managed to win a considerable amount of money in eight hands during a card game. Selina's henchman beat up Cody and took his winnings. Josslyn and Trina found trouble when they went to the dive bar to follow up on a hunch about Esme. Esme promised Ryan that she had a plan that would drive Nikolas and Ava apart for good. Felicia confronted Ryan, and she gave Esme a warning. Chase took a swing at Linc when Linc advised Brook Lynn to consider a career in the porn industry, since she could no longer sing. Chase was arrested for assault. Nikolas explained to Ava that he wanted a divorce for a clean slate when they remarried. Ava worried that a divorce would be the end of her relationship with Nikolas.

The press and business community gathered for Chancellor-Winters' launch gala. Devon overheard Nate talking to a reporter about the accident that had ended his medical career. Lily and Devon delivered heartfelt speeches about the importance of family and stuck to their plan of being vague about their new company's plans. With Imani's encouragement, Nate went rogue and revealed details about the podcasts Chancellor-Winters would be rolling out. Lily later admitted that Nate's approach had paid off. Amanda warned Imani to keep her distance from Nate, and Imani ordered Amanda to stop trying to run her life. Jack intervened when Nikki tried to throw an uninvited Diane out of the party. Victor officially named Adam as CEO of Newman Enterprises and agreed to let Sally take over running Newman Media. Adam and Sally celebrated by taking down Victoria's portrait and having sex in his new office. Ashland and Victoria reveled in their new life in New York and envisioned building a new company to compete with Newman. Victor vowed to destroy Ashland once and for all. Chance prioritized closing all of Rey's open cases. Jill sensed that Diane wanted to reconcile with Jack, and Diane confided that she wouldn't say no if he wanted to give a relationship another chance. Summer suggested that Kyle take over as CEO of Marchetti. Ashley and Traci arranged a special evening for Allie to get to know them better, and the Abbott sisters ended up sharing memories of key moments in their lives.
