Zende commissioned an engagement ring from Quinn. After seeing an interaction between Thomas and Paris, Carter warned Zende to keep his eyes open. Thomas planned a romantic roommates' night in, and Paris reminded him that she had a boyfriend. He informed her that she had other options -- if the feeling was mutual. Quinn told Carter that she might be the problem in her marriage, and she confessed the same thing to Eric. Quinn offered to leave, but Eric told her that she belonged in the house with him. Sheila advised Jack to tell the truth about himself before Finn discovered it on his own. Jack revealed to Li that he was Finn's biological father, and Li forced Jack to tell Finn.

John resisted devil Kristen's seduction. Rafe kept Ava at arm's length, but he did not break up with her. Nicole confessed to E.J. about Rafe. Maggie agreed to speak to Jack about Gwen. Kristen told Gwen about Sarah's fate, and Kristen promised to tell Xander unless Gwen helped her escape from jail. "Marlena" told Chanel that Lani was Paulina's daughter. Theo wished Ben and Ciara a happy life. Belle agreed to sue Marlena on Julie's behalf. Kate encouraged Roman to woo her. The devil sent Steve on a wild goose chase after John. Chanel announced at Paulina's wedding that Lani was Paulina's daughter. Susan was able to pick the lock to the crypt, but the devil repossessed her before she could escape. Chanel and Johnny had sex. Lani rejected Paulina as her mother. Sami called Marlena's phone and begged for help.

Esme's attempt to ruin Trina's big night backfired. Sasha went into labor, but she experienced a complication and was taken in for an emergency C-section. After a talk with Austin and Gladys, Valentin confronted Brook Lynn about Bailey's paternity. Chase had an enlightening conversation with Bobbie about Maxie. Olivia's frantic search for Leo led to acceptance. Carly and Nina had a heated exchange in the town square when Carly caught Nina spending time with Wiley. Sonny explained to Carly that "Mike" was a part of him, and Nina had been an important part of "Mike's" life for nine months. Phyllis moved into Charlie's Pub and started her job managing the bar. The mystery man introduced himself to Curtis as Marshall Thomas Ashford -- Curtis' father. Scott secured Victor's release from WSB custody, but Victor promptly went back into hiding. Robert and Anna headed to Cassadine Island in their search for Peter. Peter's plans went awry when Jason escaped. Jason was able to successfully deactivate Drew, and the brothers caught up with Peter and his hostages. Britt and Liesl were rescued, but a wounded Peter refused to give up without a fight.

Gaines told Lily and Billy that he'd made up his accusations against Ashland, and he later made a public statement to blast ChancComm for printing its exposé without checking the facts. Ashland sued ChancComm for libel. Billy and Lily printed a retraction of their story about Ashland, explaining that ChancComm had been hacked. Adam interrupted Sharon and Rey's dinner date to inform Rey about Billy's blackmail attempt. Adam and Sally swapped childhood stories. Rey presented Billy and Lily with a recording of Billy's threat against Adam. Billy attempted to strike a deal with Victor in which Billy would step down from ChancComm if the Newmans allowed Lily to run the company in peace. Lily was furious when she learned Billy had gone to Victor without consulting her first. Abby realized she couldn't care for Dominic and dropped the baby off to stay with Devon and Amanda. Victor and Ashley had their misgivings but respected Abby's choice. Mariah was disappointed that Abby hadn't reached out to her to care for Dominic. Abby disappeared without letting anyone know where she was going. Abby found a medal among Chance's mementos and remembered him saying a married couple who'd served as medics in Iraq had deserved it instead of him. Abby tracked down one of the medics, Kim Dunaway, who claimed Chance was with her but in bad shape. Abby covertly chartered a plane to Spain to find Chance. Victor and Devon hired investigators to search for Abby. Phyllis considered Amanda's suggestion that perhaps Phyllis had never gotten over Jack.
