Zoe questioned whether Shauna could let Carter go so easily, but Shauna was certain that it was over. Zoe insisted that Shauna, or any other woman, would never touch Carter again. Carter, Quinn, and Shauna swore to each other to keep their secret. Bill walked in on Hope and Liam as they were about to go to the police. Bill urged them to take one night to think it over. The couple spent the night cherishing their love, and the next day, Hope wondered if it was really wise for them to risk it all by going to the police.

Jan kidnapped Claire in Kate’s car, and then discovered Chloe was tied up in the trunk. Belle offered Jan a deal. Brady ended his relationship with Kristen. Kristen asked Chad for help, but he refused. Ava let Kristen escape from custody, and she lied about it to Rafe. Ava and Rafe had sex. Sami confronted Nicole about her night with Xander. Xander moved in with Jack. Snyder blackmailed Gwen into making his pill deliveries. Kate had hysterical blindness, and she lied about her memory loss to hold onto Jake.

Britt learned that she had the genetic marker for Huntington's disease. Britt leaned on Jason, and despair soon turned to passion as Britt found comfort in Jason's arms. Cyrus lured Brando into a trap by using Gladys as bait. Brando and Gladys were rescued, but Gladys was wounded in the crossfire. Jason returned to Port Charles in time to foil Cyrus' attempt to exchange Spinelli for Gladys. Cyrus was shot in the shoulder. Dante arrested Jason. Nurse Chloe drugged and abducted Maxie, but Maxie managed to escape Chloe's clutches. Maxie went into labor, and she received a helping hand from a doctor hiking through the woods. After Louise was born, Maxie was forced to flee from a crazed Chloe, who had managed to find Maxie. Chase moved into the Quartermaine mansion, but he soon suffered a setback. Valentin reached out to Anna when he noticed a packed bag hidden in Peter's hotel room. Peter ended up at the bottom of a stairwell with blood pooling around his head. Brook Lynn raced to Maxie's side when Maxie called for assistance. Elijah turned violent when he confronted Nina about snooping through his files. "Mike" tracked Elijah and Nina down in the nick of time. After Elijah was arrested, "Mike" and Nina shared a kiss. Portia went to kiss Curtis, but he rebuffed her advances and apologized for sending her mixed signals. Portia returned home and found a wounded Cyrus waiting for her.

Jack learned that Harrison was Kyle's son. Tara and Harrison moved into the Abbott mansion. Kyle ran a paternity test to prove whether he was Harrison's father. Ashland warned Jack about Tara, but Tara denied that Ashland had any information he could use against her. Summer postponed her wedding to Kyle. Tara considered staying in Genoa City. Sally spotted one of Harrison's toys at the mansion. Sally offered to reveal Harrison's whereabouts if Ashland lured Summer out of town with a lucrative job offer. Amanda was stunned when Victor informed her that Richard had been searching for his child before his death. Amanda suspected Naya had been lying, and she wondered if Richard had contacted Sutton as part of his search. Chelsea gave an official statement about why she'd tried to poison Rey. Rey gently explained to Chelsea that Adam and Sharon had never had an affair. Chelsea was pleased when she convinced Rey to continue to visit her. Adam appealed to Chelsea to lift the restraining order against him for Connor's sake, and Dr. Hedges encouraged her to do it. Billy and Lily moved in together. Mariah fell during a jog but only suffered a sprained wrist. Abby, Devon, Mariah, and Tessa filmed a video journal for Chance. The Hamilton-Winters family staged a tribute to Neil by inviting Neil's loved ones to walk in his footsteps by visiting Neil's old stomping grounds and listening to his favorite music.
