Liam convinced Bill to tell the police that he'd been wrong about Ridge. Bill told Sanchez that Bill hadn't recognized the shooter, which left the other suspects to wonder where the investigation would lead next. Hope advised Liam to stay away from his wife and father. Hope kissed Liam, and Liam thought Hope might be right about him needing her. Steffy kissed Liam and tried to coax him to return home, but Liam told her to be with Bill. Steffy confronted Hope about whether she supported Steffy's marriage or was filling Liam's head with garbage, and Steffy warned Hope that Steffy was willing to fight for her marriage.

Abe yelled at Valerie for protecting her son at the expense of his daughter. Dr. Laura lied in court and claimed that Gabi had confessed to her that Gabi had murdered Andre. Chad played Stefan in chess in order to extract information about Andre's killer but was frustrated when Stefan revealed that the killer was named Gabby. Kayla diagnosed Lani with placenta previa. Valerie reconciled with both Abe and Lani. Dr. Laura and Gabby fought for control of Abigail's body. A panicked Abigail reached out to Marlena for help, and Dr. Laura revealed herself to Marlena. Chad theorized that Stefan had brainwashed Abigail. Adrienne hired Will at the Spectator. Tripp grew closer to his father after Steve informed him that he was totally blind. Sonny slept with Leo, who revealed he worked at Titan. The jury returned a verdict in Gabi's trial.

Peter persuaded Griffin to keep quiet about the paternity test that confirmed that Peter was Faison's son. Nina asked Curtis to dig into Peter's past because she became concerned about Maxie's growing friendship with Peter. Sonny grew uneasy when Mike recounted something from Sonny's past that Mike couldn't have known about. Jason admitted that he would be okay with whatever Sam decided -- as long as she didn't go back to Drew. Oscar confided to Josslyn that he hoped his parents rekindled their romance. Nelle took steps to "haunt" Carly. Kevin put Franco under hypnosis in the hope of uncovering what Franco was suppressing, but Franco became too agitated as he talked about protecting Andy from Jim. Jim slipped into the hospital and posed as a doctor to get to Betsy, but his plan went awry when he found Drew with her. Jim fled, but he encountered Elizabeth and Jake in the parking garage. Franco foiled Jim's attempt to kidnap Elizabeth and Jake, but both men vanished before Elizabeth could return with help. Betsy shared her secrets with Drew. Kiki confronted David about his unwanted advances. David apologized and claimed that he had misread Kiki's signals, but he later made a point of saving her voicemail message asking him to meet her.

Lily attempted to play matchmaker with Devon and Simone. Kyle kissed Hilary to help her make Devon jealous. Hilary informed Simone that she and Devon were planning to co-parent a child and insinuated that they'd slept together. DNA test results indicated that Jack was not a blood Abbott, but Ashley and Abby decided not to tell Jack while he was in jail. Kyle showed a tender side when he met Dina. Kyle fired Gloria. Kyle thwarted Ashley's attempt to have the board appoint Billy as CEO. J.T. agreed to give Mac full custody of their children if she signed the divorce papers right away. After Mac shared with Sharon that J.T. had been emotionally abusive, Sharon encouraged a defiant Victoria to seek help. Victoria told J.T. that she couldn't marry him yet, and she insisted on getting counseling. Victoria opened up in therapy, but J.T. was against having another session. Victoria decided to end things with J.T. after a private meeting with the therapist, but she changed her mind when J.T. was sweet and understanding. J.T. contended that Victor was the emotional abuser that Victoria needed to eliminate from her life. Nikki and Jill clashed at the dedication in the park in Katherine's honor. Blood from a man other than Jack or Victor was found at the Newman ranch. A mysterious brunette woman visited Victor in his hospital room. The Newmans were devastated to learn that Victor was septic but relieved when he finally showed a reaction to the antibiotics. J.T. turned off Victor's life support.
