Former daytime stars Shannon Kane (ex-Natalia Fowler, All My Children) and Lamman Rucker (ex-Garret Williams, AMC; ex-T. Marshall Travers, As the World Turns) join Empire alum Malik Yoba in Terror Lake Drive, a suspenseful soapy drama headed to Urban Movie Channel.

Pumpkin pie isn't the only treat that TV viewers can look forward to this Thanksgiving. The family holiday will also see the premiere of Terror Lake Drive, a tense limited series that stars soap alums Shannon Kane (ex-Natalia Fowler, All My Children) and Lamman Rucker (ex-Garret Williams, AMC; ex-T. Marshall Travers, As the World Turns) alongside Empire alum Malik Yoba.

Set to begin airing on Urban Movie Channel (UMC) on Thursday, November 26, Terror Lake Drive is, according to Deadline, "a suspenseful drama that follows a single mother from Baltimore who -- on the heels of a recent pandemic and growing social unrest -- relocates to Atlanta in an attempt to dodge her troubled past. As she settles into her new surroundings, she soon discovers that there are some things she can never run away from."

Says Kane about the soapy series, "It's on like Donkey Kong! 'Terror Lake Drive' premiers Thanksgiving 2020. Let's go!"

Adds Rucker, "Get ready for 'Terror Lake Drive' a Thanksgiving thriller premiering on @watchumc with @malikyoba @shankane @iamlildeedee, and I. Shout out to @theejlamothe (Director) and @samaddavis (Producer) for getting the first Atlanta film off the ground in this season."

The six-part series was created by Jerry LaMothe and Kajuana S. Marie. Ambitions alums Samad Davis and Dianne Ashford will serve as producer and line producer, respectively.

"Terror Lake Drive introduces a thrilling level of suspense not yet showcased in our original programming," says Nikki Love, UMC's VP of Production & Development. "It has been wonderful working with Jerry and his team to execute his vision for this project."

Adds Lamothe, "I'm elated to be working with UMC and am thankful for the opportunity they've provided me with the upcoming release of my first series. It's been quite a journey to complete this project given our new normal, but we made it through thanks to the work of our wonderful cast and crew. I can't wait for audiences to experience Terror Lake Drive."

Kane starred on AMC from 2008 to 2011. She also briefly played the role of Monica on The Young and the Restless in 2007. Some of her other credits include Hollywood Heights, The Originals, Code Black, and American Soul.

Rucker starred on ATWT from 2002 to 2003 and on AMC in 2005. His additional credits include South of Hell, Meet the Browns, and Greenleaf.
