Walt Willey and Susan Lucci reunite to discuss possible AMC reboot

Walt Willey and Susan Lucci, popular for playing beloved All My Children couple Jackson Montgomery and Erica Kane, are set to reunite on an upcoming episode of The Dr. Oz Show -- and they're discussing a possible reboot of the ABC soap opera!

Dreams really do come true, as evidenced by a recent social media message sent out by All My Children alum Walt Willey (ex-Jackson Montgomery). He and Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane) are getting back together again!

Willey announced via Twitter that he and his former on-screen wife will be reuniting on an upcoming episode of The Doctor Oz Show, where he and Lucci will be discussing the possibility of AMC being rebooted.

"Hey Folks! Be sure to tune into 'Dr. Oz' next Friday, January 31 as I surprise 'my Susan' and we discuss the possibility of an All My Children 'reboot,'" Willey shares. "Wouldn't that be something?"

Willey played AMC's legal eagle Jack from 1987 until the soap's ABC cancellation in 2011, and Lucci played cosmetics queen Erica from 1970 to 2011. Over the course of the three decades that they shared the screen, their Pine Valley alter egos were married, divorced, engaged for the second time, and then broke up again -- which may seem like a lot, but considering Erica was married eleven times in total, that's really child's play.

In August of last year, ABC President Karey Burke got fans' spirits up when she revealed that rebooting AMC and its sister soap One Life to Live was something the network was "thinking about and looking into and having conversations about." The exec added, "Should there be the right opportunity, we will revisit [these shows]. We're really looking at everything, other models and ways of telling those stories."

To catch Willey and Lucci's reunion and to find out what they think about a possible AMC reboot, be sure to tune in to The Dr. Oz Show on Friday, January 31.
