All My Children alum Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane) is known to the world as the queen of soaps, but she's known to her family and friends as the queen of gifts.

If you happen to know All My Children alum Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane) in real life, you're likely going to have a very merry Christmas, indeed. The daytime star is apparently one of the best gift givers around and even has a special space in her house to store presents.

"I have a gift closet," the actress recently told Page Six Style, adding that she has "probably around 20" presents wrapped and ready to go right now. "As a wife, a mother and a grandmother, I'm always so busy figuring out what I'm going to get everyone. And I've never given a blanket gift; it's always something individual."

The Daytime Emmy-winner shares that she starts her holiday shopping quite early -- right after Labor Day, to be exact -- and she even hand-wraps most of the gifts herself with rolls of paper and ribbons that are also stored in the aforementioned gift closet.

As for what Lucci would love to find under her Christmas tree this year, she shares that she recently fell in love with a diamond necklace and a diamond bracelet at Cartier in Las Vegas.

"But I haven't even said anything to my husband about it yet," she says with a laugh. "That said, my birthday's on the 23rd, and I'd be open to a combination gift."

Though the diamond jewelry is extravagant, Lucci shares that she's actually not very fussy when it comes to gifts -- just as long as it's not a bath bomb.

"I got one of those [one year], and I have to say, the scent was so strong -- and it never really bubbled. It just fizzed, and made this crusty thing on top of the bathtub," she says. "It was like getting into a tub full of Alka-Seltzer."

What do you think about Lucci's holiday gift preparation, which includes an early shopping schedule and a special closet just for storing presents?
