Christina Bennett Lind (ex-Bianca Montgomery, AMC) will have a role in season three of the popular Netflix drama House of Cards. The third season of the critically acclaimed political drama set in modern-day Washington, DC, is expected to premiere in early 2015.

Lind will be joining a cast that includes Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright, Kate Mara, and Corey Stoll. So far the show runners are remaining tight-lipped on what role Lind will play.

Coming onto a wildly popular show in its third season may seem like it would put a lot of pressure on an actress, but it's a pressure Lind is well-equipped for. In 2010, she took on the seemingly impossible task of following fan favorite Eden Riegel as AMC's Bianca Montgomery, daughter of the show's most well-known character, Erica Kane.

Lind put her own spin on the role and quickly won over viewers. She played the role from June 2010 until the cancellation of AMC's televised run in September of 2011. In that time, Bianca developed a romance with her divorce lawyer, Marissa Tasker, who happened to be dealing with her own divorce from Bianca's childhood friend and adulthood adversary, JR Chandler. Bianca, Marissa, and their children were happily searching for a home together when AMC ended its run on ABC.

Since her time on AMC, Lind has played a variety of film and theater roles including turns in Ride the Tiger at Long Wharf Theatre, The Heart of Robin Hood at American Repertory Theatre, and the short film End of Innocents.
