Jay Bontatibus joined the cast of General Hospital in a role he originated on GH's now-cancelled sister soap, Port Charles.
Before playing the recurring role of Andy Capelli on both GH and PC, Jay was seen as Tony Viscardi on the CBS Daytime show, The Young and the Restless. He was also seen as Russell Boyd on the now-cancelled daytime series Another World. He has also appeared on Guiding Light and One Life to Live.
His other television series credits include guest starring roles in Central Park West and Tattingers.
Jay has appeared in the off-Broadway productions of Jimbo and Scrimmage. He has also appeared in the New York regional theatre productions of Remote Control, The Groomsman, Urban Pueblo and Preludes, Fugues & Rifts.
When Jay is not working, he enjoys playing basketball, baseball, bowling and racquetball. Jay married Y&R Assistant Casting Director Marnie Saitta in December 2002.
