Zende assumed that Ridge had pulled strings and skipped over Zende to ensure that Ridge's inexperienced son R.J. would partner with Eric on couture. With HFTF sidelined due to Eric's win, Zende felt shuffled aside. R.J. suggested telling Zende about Eric's condition so that Zende could better understand why things had happened as they had, but Ridge decided against it. R.J. got the feeling that Zende was gunning for him. Bill couldn't shake the feeling that he knew Poppy, but she insisted that they'd never met. Ridge prepared a romantic evening with Brooke to celebrate their love and destiny.

Gloria Cerullo -- Lois' mother -- dropped in for a surprise visit and to help Lois cook a Thanksgiving dinner for the Quartermaines. Diane was forced to recuse herself as Finn's attorney, so Alexis and Gregory asked Martin to represent Finn in the malpractice lawsuit. Charlotte confided to Nina that she had spray-painted Anna's door and vandalized Anna's hotel suite, but she denied setting the fire. Valentin and Laura confronted Charlotte about stalking Anna, but Charlotte insisted that Anna had shot her on purpose and that she had been trying to protect Valentin from Anna. Anna ended things with Valentin. Robert arranged for Emma to spend Thanksgiving with Anna and him. Carly declined Nina's offer to buy Nina's half of Metro Court. Ned was on the verge of telling Drew the truth about the tip to the SEC, but he had a change of heart when he learned that Drew and Michael planned to make a move for ELQ. Josslyn took Adam to the hospital when he had a panic attack during a test. Spencer told Trina that he was ready to take a step back from Ace. Curtis asked for Jordan's help investigating the shooting that left him paralyzed. Sonny gave Cyrus an ominous warning.

The Newmans headed to Oregon after Claire informed them that Nikki had suffered a seizure. Nikki chugged the bottle of vodka that Claire had left behind. Cole Howard arrived at Jordan's lake house and called out for Nikki and Victoria. Jack was delighted when Kyle accepted the position of COO at Jabot. At Diane's urging, Kyle told Audra and Tucker that he was back in on their plan to take over Jabot, but he really planned on undercutting Tucker to prove himself to Jack. Devon ordered Tucker to keep his distance from Devon's family and Chancellor-Winters. Ashley offered to help Tucker mend his relationship with Devon. Devon, Lily, and Jill agreed to consider letting Nate back in the family company if Mamie revealed Tucker's true agenda. Mamie claimed that Tucker's only interest was ensuring that Devon no longer had to share control of Chancellor-Winters with Jill, since Tucker believed Devon was the true Chancellor heir. Jack was miffed when Ashley wanted to have drinks with Tucker on Thanksgiving. Ashley tried to make peace with Tucker by giving him the company they'd acquired together as a foundation for Simply Ashley. Nina was relieved when Chance considered leaving the police force to join Jill at Chancellor-Winters. Abby arranged for a last-minute Thanksgiving dinner at Society for the Fisher-Baldwin clan when Michael and Gloria suddenly returned to town. Gloria divulged that she'd been thrown in jail for stealing from the wife of a diplomat she'd had an affair with in Singapore.
