Steffy punched Sheila and ordered her to stay away from Steffy's family. As Steffy and Finn shared a romantic reunion, Liam insisted to Bill that Liam could better protect Steffy from Sheila. Steffy walked in on Hope and Thomas making out. Hope claimed they were just having fun, and Steffy wasn't going to stop them. Liam told Ridge that Steffy's only answer to Sheila was to leave Finn, and if she did, Liam hoped she'd return to Liam while she was at it. Steffy asked Liam not to worry about her, but Liam insisted that she wasn't safe with Finn. Liam made his case to Steffy, saying they'd been good together and could be together again. Poppy visited Luna, and Li lashed out at Poppy about their past. Taylor told Deacon that he'd better watch out, because she'd once believed in Sheila, too. Ridge sought answers from Dr. Colby about Eric, only to learn that the situation was hopeless.

Harris arrested Gabi when Li identified her as his attacker before he died. Chad was jealous of Everett. Gabi told Rafe everything, and he believed she was not Li's killer. Paulina appointed E.J. as the D.A. Wendy vowed revenge. Maggie struggled through her first wedding anniversary without Victor. John and Marlena celebrated their anniversary. Sarah dug in against Xander after Eric received a summons. Steve caught Konstantin in a lie. Alex asked Theresa to run Bella. Wendy took her anger out on Jada. E.J. gleefully helped send Gabi to prison despite Belle's efforts. Dimitri knocked out Jada when she blocked his and Leo's escape. Melinda was unable to secure a baby for Sloan. E.J. advised Chad to undermine Everett and buy the paper. Everett hired Stephanie to do PR. Dimitri skidded toward Nicole's car on his way to Rolf's submarine.

Charlotte was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery. Valentin was relieved when he was told that Charlotte would make a full recovery. Dante learned that incriminating evidence had been found in Charlotte's backpack. Valentin was forced to make a full confession to Anna. Charlotte told Laura about Victor's letter. "Eddie" dove into the lake at the Quartermaine estate in pursuit of inspiration, but he ended up trapped in the lake's foliage. After Olivia saved "Eddie," she was overjoyed to discover that Ned had returned to her. Michael had an opportunity to tell Drew and Carly about Nina's role in their legal troubles, but he opted not to. Spencer's objections to Esme moving out caused friction between him and Trina. Drew reunited with his loved ones. Tracy and Bobbie flew to Amsterdam to settle Luke's affairs. Sasha had her first photoshoot since agreeing to return as the Face of Deception. Mason offered to cooperate in exchange for a reduced sentence for his crimes. Sonny informed Ava that Austin and Mason answered to Cyrus, and he warned her that Austin's first loyalty was to his boss. Kristina suggested that Alexis do an interview with Blaze about Blaze's experience with Linc.

Mariah and Tessa rejoiced when Aria responded to sound after being fitted with hearing aids. Nick told Victor that Adam had planned for a doctor to covertly evaluate Victor. Victor revealed to his family and Nate that he was truly concerned about his mental health. Nate pushed for Victor to secretly seek treatment at a specialized clinic while Victoria took over as CEO, while Adam insisted that they avoid exposure by arranging for care in-house. Nate was livid when Victoria sided with Adam. Victor fired Nate and confessed that his memory lapses had been a charade to draw out who had been trying to betray him. Victoria defended Nate. Victor continued to pressure Nick to return to Newman. Over a call, Claire told her aunt that she thought she'd have more time, but she was making progress. Devon agreed to try to make amends with Nate for Lily and Mamie's sakes. Sally invited Chloe to tag along to provide decorating ideas for Daniel's new place. Chloe decided that Marchetti wasn't the right fit for her. Heather and Lily moved back to Genoa City. Nina received notice that Chance had been shot while on duty, but he was expected to make a full recovery. Sharon was stunned when she found Summer holding Chance's hand at the hospital. Summer admitted to Phyllis that she had feelings for Chance but intended to show restraint. Phyllis angled to spend more time with Danny but was dismayed when he kept making plans with Christine.
