Donna stood by Eric, who hid that he had tremors along with arthritis. When Brooke agreed that it was time for Eric to put down the pencil and enjoy life, Donna assumed Brooke thought Eric couldn't win. Katie and Carter worried about how the competition would affect the company's image, publicity, and bottom line. Douglas asked Hope to open her heart to Thomas. Even though Thomas advised his son that it might never happen, Douglas set Hope and Thomas up on a romantic date at Thomas' house. Deacon's fears of losing Hope and the restaurant led to him breaking things off with Sheila. Sheila overheard Deacon talking to the judge in her case and learned that Deacon had had a hand in the courts setting Sheila free. Li ordered Finn to get rid of Sheila once and for all.

Security footage revealed that Charlotte had secretly entered Anna's hotel suite. Valentin and Nina decided to delete the security footage to protect Charlotte from potential criminal charges. Valentin was shaken by the possibility that Charlotte had been responsible for the fire at Anna's house. Anna warned Sonny that she suspected Sonny had been the target of the shooting at Metro Court's pool. Drew was rushed to the hospital when Cyrus took steps to neutralize Drew. Diane received information from Robert that suggested Carly might be approached with an offer to turn on Sonny in exchange for Drew's early release. Kristina was excited to meet with Blaze. Finn persuaded Gregory to agree to see another doctor about Gregory's treatment plan. Gregory confided to Tracy that he'd been diagnosed with ALS. Maxie learned about Tracy's offer to Lucy to drop the lawsuit. Cody confessed everything to Sasha, including his role in Selina's card games and why he'd been reluctant to tell Sasha about Gladys' gambling debt. Willow returned to work at General Hospital, and she helped Sam gather evidence against Montague. Molly was delighted to learn that Andrea was pregnant.

Billy suggested that he and Jack attempt to turn Devon against Tucker to drive Tucker out of town. Jack hesitated to go along with the plan, and he was later incensed when he discovered that Billy had sought out Devon on his own. Tucker confided to Audra that he considered Billy to be his secret weapon. Jack told Phyllis she was still dead to him. Tucker offered Phyllis $2.2 million to hack into Billy's financial records. Desperate to repay the insurance company for her fraudulent death claim, Phyllis accepted Tucker's deal. Billy watched Phyllis sneaking up to Tucker's hotel suite. Lily learned that Victor had sold his interest in Chancellor-Winters to another party, but he refused to name who it was. Victoria claimed that Victor was unfit to be Newman's CEO, citing his impulsive and contradictory decisions. Victoria was taken aback when Victor replaced her portrait with his in the CEO's office. Nikki forced Audra to fire Kyle. Audra also ended her romantic relationship with Kyle. Jack and Diane hoped Kyle would return to Jabot, but Kyle refused to return unless Jack replaced Billy with Kyle as co-CEO. After a friendly dinner to celebrate the new beginnings in their lives, Adam kissed Sally, and she responded. Adam and Sally agreed to pretend it had never happened, but she was clearly shaken by her lingering feelings for him. Summer admitted to Daniel that she was attracted to Chance.
