The strain on Liam and Hope's marriage continued as Hope tried to control her sexual fantasies about Thomas. Liam wrestled with the unsettling feeling he had that something bad would happen in Rome. Both Wyatt and Steffy advised Liam to go to Rome, but when Hope finally suggested it to him, he declined, not wanting to be "that husband." Thomas remained oblivious to Hope's struggles, even offering her a backrub on the jet. Finn convinced Liam to surprise Hope in Rome. Brooke confided in her sisters that Ridge no longer believed in destiny and had stopped calling her Logan. On the jet to Italy, Steffy gave Ridge permission to live his life, whether it was with Taylor or Brooke.

Nicole was disgusted to learn that Chloe was dating Xander. E.J. declined to team up with Stefan and Gabi. Megan tied up E.J. to stop him from warning Stefan about her plan to murder him. Whitley told Abe that he had been impeached as mayor. Wendy told Li that she was proud of him. Gabi worried her marriage was doomed. Harris agreed to help Kate. Kristen found E.J., but Megan tied up Kristen, too. Megan asked Li to recall Rolf to Salem to brainwash Harris. A drunken Shawn interrupted Harris' plan to disappear Megan. Nicole learned that she would likely carry her baby to term. Kate convinced Eric and Sloan to have a baby. Dimitri and Gwen gave in to their passions.

Tracy was forced to retract her accusation that Drew had attacked Ned because a security tape of the incident cleared Drew of wrongdoing. Ned was sedated and given medication to reduce his brain swelling. Ned woke up, but Olivia's joy was short-lived because Ned woke up claiming to be Eddie Maine. Gladys tried her best to persuade Sasha to reconsider petitioning to have the guardianship terminated, but Sasha insisted that she was ready to take control of her life. Gladys discovered that the psychiatrist who would help Sasha gain back her independence was one of the card players at the Savoy. Trina gave Curtis a special birthday gift. Taggert opened up to Jordan about his heartbreak over learning the results of Trina's paternity test. Zeke was surprised to discover that Jordan was the police commissioner -- and Curtis' ex-wife. Jordan implored Zeke not to tell Portia about the kiss that Jordan and Curtis had shared. Dex accepted Michael and Carly's job offer to act as Sonny's secret bodyguard. Drew told Carly that he planned to take full responsibility for the insider trading charge, so she wouldn't have to go to prison. Sonny told Nina that the church would be available for a fall wedding. Nina decided that it was time to be honest with Sonny. Austin urged Ava to comply with Mason's demands to help take down Sonny. Sam reached out to Spinelli for help.

Cameron kidnapped Faith while she was on her way to the airport. Nick discovered a listening device inside the cottage. Nick asked Adam to look after Sally while Nick dealt with Cameron. Cameron asked Sharon to meet him at the motel where she'd almost killed him. Nick strapped a knife to Sharon's leg before her meeting with Cameron. Chance found a lead on Faith's whereabouts. Alone at the cottage, Sharon was horrified when Cameron suddenly descended the stairs. Sharon pretended to go along with Cameron's plan to run off together. Nick burst in and attacked Cameron, but Cameron escaped. Cameron terrorized Faith in the underground sewer system. Nick and Sharon found Faith, but Cameron held a screwdriver to Sharon's throat and demanded that Nick choose between Sharon and Faith. Nick told Faith to run, but Cameron revealed that he'd strapped a bomb to Faith's midsection. Sharon retrieved her hidden weapon and slashed Cameron's arm. Chance arrived and had Cameron at gunpoint, but Sharon plunged the knife into Cameron's chest, killing him. Adam and Sally considered naming their baby after Hope. Sally suffered a medical emergency, and Adam was forced to decide whether to save Sally or the baby. Adam prepared to tell Sally that they'd lost the baby. Summer appealed to Victor to find Carson. Lily suggested to Daniel that Phyllis might benefit from serving prison time. Audra lent an ear to Kyle. Kyle rejected Summer's attempt to talk things out. Connor refused to see a therapist.
