Il Giardino employee Paul Hollister made a bold move to get to know Brooke. Aided by Taylor, Hollis finagled a date with Brooke in her home; however, after sharing an intriguing kiss with Hollis, Brooke concluded that she wasn't ready to date. Taylor and Brooke swore to always be there for each other. Sheila expressed her desire to be with Hayes and Finn, and Bill vowed to make it happen. Tensions flared between Steffy, Finn, and Thomas. Taylor attempted to mediate between her children and urged them to "find the love."

Roman stopped Steve from killing Orpheus. Orpheus said a DiMera had stolen the orchid. Jake told Kate, Kayla, and Marlena that they were not dead. Chanel and Allie said goodbye. Brady told Eric he suspected that Sloan's real client was Li. Li pressured Gabi into taking his shares of DiMera Enterprises if she agreed to delay their divorce. Johnny confronted E.J. about a vial of drugs he had found. Eric convinced Rolf to sign the statement. Brady kidnapped Stefan. Sloan ended her fling with Eric. Rafe arrested Li. Rolf finished deprogramming Stefan. E.J. and Nicole plotted revenge on Stefan. Jake convinced Nick to let Marlena, Kate, and Kayla return to their bodies. John and Steve pinpointed Megan Hathaway as the orchid thief. Marlena, Kate, and Kayla woke up in sleeping pods under the watchful eye of Megan.

After escaping from Spring Ridge, Ryan, Heather, and Esme made their way to Spoon Island. Ryan held Ava and Felicia at gunpoint, and Heather attacked Austin with a hook. Austin survived the attack. Esme managed to escape, but Ryan gave chase and caught up with Esme on the northwest corner of the island. Heather told Ava about Ryan's plot with Esme to destroy Ava's life. A distraught Ava hunted Ryan down, and she blamed Ryan's machinations for driving her to kill Nikolas. Ava shot Ryan in the shoulder, but when she went to kill him, the gun was empty. Mac shot and killed Ryan as Ryan took a menacing step toward Ava. Esme went into labor. With Kevin and Laura's help, Esme gave birth to a baby boy whom Esme named "Ace." Heather was arrested, and she confessed to all the hook attacks. Curtis confronted Portia about her lies. After Curtis stormed out, Taggert paid Portia a visit. Taggert admitted that he was upset, but he assured Portia that Trina and Portia would always be his family. Sparks flew when Spencer and Trina shared a passionate kiss. Josslyn discovered Dex's secrets, but Dex was careful not to reveal that his boss was Michael. Sonny and Michael had a heated exchange about Willow's refusal to see Nina. Willow debated when to tell Wiley about her cancer. Scott and Elizabeth went to the police station to talk to Robert and Jordan.

Devon hired Christine as his attorney to help him recover Hamilton-Winters in court. Christine encouraged Lily to reach a compromise with Devon, but the siblings remained at an impasse. Nate attempted to broker peace between Lily and Devon, but he only reignited their anger over his betrayal. Tucker and Victoria were floored when they separately learned that another party had acquired his debt. Ashley later gloated that she'd purchased Tucker's debt -- and that she owned him. Audra sensed that something more than professional was going on between Victoria and Nate. While preparing to look at the paternity test results, Sally envisioned two different scenarios, depending on whether Nick or Adam turned out to be the baby's father. Nick and Sally were devastated when the test indicated Nick was not the father. Sally told Adam that she was pregnant with his baby but that there was no chance of a reconciliation between them. Nick and Sally pledged not to let Adam get between them. Adam turned to Chelsea for advice. Jack tried to convince Billy to become co-CEO of Jabot. Billy admitted to Jack that he had growing feelings for Chelsea. Daniel slowly began to rebuild Lucy's trust. Heather and Lucy returned to Portugal. Chance warned Jack and Diane against trying to handle Stark themselves. Kyle and Summer made up after he stood up to Victor. Victor still honored his word by transferring the textile mills to Marchetti.
