Katie had mixed feelings about Taylor after learning she'd shot Will's father in the back, but Brooke urged Katie to show Taylor grace. After penning her crime in a notebook, Taylor wrote that it was time to end it all. Brooke found the notebook beside a bottle of sleeping pills, and assuming the worst, Brooke slapped a sleeping Taylor and splashed cold water on her to wake her up. Concerned for Taylor's well-being, Brooke asked Taylor to move in with her. Disguised, Deacon personally delivered Sheila's takeout. When Sheila paid Deacon a visit, he urged her to leave Bill for a relationship with Deacon. Thomas took Hope to court and let Douglas legally decide who he'd live with. Douglas stunned his parents by telling the judge that he wanted to live with his Aunt Steffy.

Austin gave Ava a helping hand when he caught her hiding Nikolas' body in the stables. Ava and Austin devised a cover story to explain Nikolas' sudden absence. Laura paid Ava a visit, looking for Nikolas, so Ava claimed that Nikolas had stormed out after an argument. Victor approved of Spencer's plan to file for custody of Nikolas and Esme's baby. Finn urged Elizabeth not to confess to the police because it was clear that Nikolas had left town. Willow and Michael named their daughter Amelia Grace. Willow received devastating news that the doctors had been unable to harvest enough stem cells from the umbilical cord for the transplant. Terry explained that Willow didn't have much time left. Liesl offered to be tested to see if she was a match for Willow. Laura stepped in when Stella bowed out of officiating Curtis and Portia's wedding. Curtis surprised Portia by arranging for her father and brother to attend the wedding. Alexis pushed Gregory to reconsider her offer of a job at the Invader. Chase informed Brook Lynn that he intended to keep up the pretense of a music career until Linc was taken down.

Sally scheduled a paternity test but decided not to tell Adam about her pregnancy until after she received the results. Nick convinced Jill to listen to Sally and Chloe's business proposal, and Jill was impressed with the women's presentation. Jill agreed to Lily's request that they move forward with Daniel's Omega Sphere project. Lily turned down Devon's suggestion that she join him at Hamilton-Winters to run Neil's company together. Phyllis returned from Portugal and admitted that she'd made no progress with Heather. Daniel fired Phyllis. Victoria insisted that Nate be in on Newman's plan to take over McCall Unlimited. Audra renewed her friendship with Tucker to try to get inside information for Nate. Diane asked Kyle to promote her to Phyllis' former position. Jack stumbled upon a text message from Victor on Kyle's phone, proving that Kyle and Victor had been working together to oust Adam from Jabot. Jack angrily confronted Kyle for lying to him, but Adam interrupted and announced he was leaving Jabot. Adam advised Chelsea against spending time with Billy, but she asserted that it was her decision to make. Victoria cautioned that Katie was jealous of the time Billy had been spending with Chelsea and Connor. Billy was stunned when Adam volunteered to coordinate a fun outing for their sons. Delphine called Mariah and Tessa to report that she was in labor, but it turned out to be a false alarm. Elena eased Tessa's fears about being unprepared for motherhood.
