Hope was intrigued by "Lina," and Hope let Liam, Brooke, and Ridge know that there could be a new woman in Deacon's life. Deacon berated Sheila for letting Hope think Sheila, disguised as Lina, was the new woman in Deacon's life. When Deacon left his cell phone at home, Sheila took it to the bar, wearing her Lina mask. There, Sheila overheard Finn telling Bill that Sheila was the reason Finn had been born, and Sheila became convinced that she had a shot with Finn. While Steffy and Hope exchanged verbal barbs over Douglas, Taylor and Brooke declared paint war on each other. Thomas told Hope that, ideally, Douglas should live with both of his parents, and unlike Liam, Thomas was a one-woman man.

Chloe told Brady that Kristen had almost stabbed her. Kristen moved for full custody. Rolf conditioned Stefan to feel pain when he thought of Gabi. Shawn struggled to forgive Belle, but they made love. Orpheus planned a deadly game. Marlena forgave Kate. John, Steve, and Roman saved Kayla, Marlena, and Kate from Orpheus. Stephanie warmed up to Alex after he hassled Leo. Chloe warned Nicole to get over her obsession with Eric. Leo found Sonny with a knife in his back. Chad saw Leo at the crime scene. Leo realized that someone had framed him.

Lucy decided to salvage Deception's tarnished image by firing Sasha. Sasha reeled at the suggestion that the court appoint Brando as her guardian, in exchange for no jail time, as a way to resolve the legal situation from the assault on Smoltz. Josslyn and Dex raced to Ava's aid and saved Ava's life. Nikolas provided Elizabeth -- and himself -- an alibi for the time of Ava's attack. Ava woke up, but her memory of the attack was hazy. Ava confided to Nina that Nikolas had slept with Esme. An unsettling dream about Esme prompted Spencer to write a letter to Trina. After a conversation with Victor, Anna began to put the pieces together. Anna confronted Valentin, and he confessed that Victor had abducted Charlotte. Elizabeth confessed to Finn that she'd been losing time again, and she opened up about her brief flashes of childhood memories. Finn assured Elizabeth they would get to the bottom of things together. Carly told Drew that she needed time to get her life in order before starting a romantic relationship with him, but Drew was certain they were on the brink of something special. Bobbie offered Carly some advice. Things heated up between Chase and Brook Lynn. Dante and Sam made plans to move in together.

Noah and Allie celebrated his securing space for his new club by making love. Chance struggled with not having anyone to vent to about his conflicted feelings over covering up Victor's crime. After Chance left Dominic's first birthday party to meet an informant, Abby confided in Devon about her husband's preoccupation with work at the expense of their family. Faith prepared to leave for college. Mariah and Tessa were crushed when an adoption attorney turned down their case because of their criminal records. Kyle planned to throw a surprise wedding for Summer.
