Hope and Brooke questioned the wisdom of keeping Steffy in the dark about Finn. Bridget ended the debate by deciding that Steffy was well enough to hear the truth. With Liam's help, Ridge broke the news to Steffy that she'd been in the alley with Finn, her subsequently dead husband. Finn's memory flooded back to Steffy, and Liam pledged to stand by Steffy through her recovery. As Taylor repeatedly expressed her glee that Steffy had Liam, who comforted her more than anyone, Brooke reminded Taylor that Liam was not Steffy's husband. Sheila contemplated sabotaging Steffy's sobriety and concluded that for her own survival, Sheila had to neutralize Steffy before Steffy's memory returned. Hope seemed leery of Liam's closeness to Steffy. Bridget announced that Steffy could leave the hospital.

Paulina told T.R. that she wanted to take things slowly. The devil showed Johnny video of a drunken Tripp and Chanel kissing. Paulina stopped Tripp and Chanel from having sex. Devil Allie drugged Ben and chained him up in the crypt. Jake remembered his fight with the devil, and he told Gabi. Eric convinced Belle to move home. Jan convinced Shawn to supervise her house arrest release from prison for medical issues. Eric told Nicole that he wanted her to be happy with Rafe. Devil Allie broke Evan out of prison. Susan remembered that Johnny had been possessed. Undead Andre offered Ben a deal, which Ben refused. E.J. and Susan saved Johnny and Ben before Andre could strangle them. Devil Allie made an unconscious Jake look like a dead Ben. Ciara found Evan with "Ben." Devil Allie knocked out Evan and told Ciara that Ben was dead. Devil Allie drove Ciara to the Horton cabin.

A photographer snapped photos of Sasha taking drugs, but Gladys unwittingly intervened and took the man's memory card. The photographer gave chase in his car when Sasha and Gladys left Metro Court's gardens. Carly found a portion of Neil's report about Harmony's secret in the fireplace. Harmony injected Carly with a syringe and took an unconscious Carly to Rana Point to stage a car accident, but Alexis arrived in the nick of time to save Carly. Alexis was stunned when Harmony confessed to murdering both Neil Byrne and his brother. Harmony escaped into the woods, but she was struck by a car driven by Sasha. Sasha performed CPR on Harmony, and Harmony was rushed to the hospital in grave condition. Michael cut Sonny out of his life. Laura secured a promise from Sonny that Esme wouldn't be harmed. Ava admitted that she didn't know what would fix her marriage to Nikolas because the trust had been broken between them. The security cameras in Elizabeth's house were revealed to have been jammed when Chase had been knocked unconscious. Curtis confronted Marshall about Marshall's lies. Marshall resented that Curtis had looked at Marshall's criminal file and learned that Marshall had been arrested during a protest and sent to a mental health facility. Marshall sent T.J. a special gift.

Jack told Nikki that Diane was alive. Nikki excoriated Diane for the pain she'd caused. Kyle and Harrison returned to Genoa City. Kyle reeled when Jack broke the news that Diane had faked her death. After a heartfelt chat with Traci, Kyle decided to hear his mother out. Jack granted Diane's request to let her meet with Kyle at the Abbott mansion. Kyle and Diane faced one another for the first time in decades. Sharon agreed to have Rey buried in Miami. Sharon continued to put up a brave front for her family and friends. Mariah and Tessa honored Sharon's wishes by not postponing their wedding. Tessa asked Sharon to walk her down the aisle, and Nick happily accepted Mariah's request that he do the same for her. Adam defied Victor's orders by visiting Sharon to express his condolences. Sharon broke down in Adam's arms. An autopsy revealed that Rey hadn't died because of the car accident -- he'd suffered a massive heart attack. The Newmans were furious when Ashland refused to leave town. Ashland remained determined to win Victoria back. Sally confessed to Adam that she'd faked a terminal illness and was shocked when he revealed that he'd also once pretended to have a serious ailment. Adam told Sally he was falling in love with her. Devon and Lily had very different ideas about how to promote their new company.
