Finn was anxious for his family to meet Sheila, but her presence threw the family into an uproar. Ridge wondered if Finn had been in on Sheila's plan, and no one believed that Sheila was really Finn's mother. Jack affirmed it, saying she'd contacted him when Finn had been a child. The Forresters threw Sheila out and requested that Carter file a restraining order. Sheila tricked a hospital staff member into giving her Finn's number. Finn promised Steffy that he'd have no contact with Sheila, but when Sheila sent him a farewell text, he responded with a heart emoji.

Gabi convinced Philip to hire Jake, and she installed software in an effort to take over Titan. Lani told Abe about how Paulina had repeatedly disappointed her as a child. Ben kidnapped Ciara and took her to the cabin. Eli arrested Claire and Allie for aiding Ben. Ciara splinted Ben's ankle after she broke it, and she remembered her life with him. Shawn and Theo found Ben and Ciara in one another's arms at the cabin. E.J. and Sami argued about her affair with Lucas. E.J. told Sami he wanted her out of his life. Nicole told Rafe that her marriage was over. Ava was jealous of Rafe and Nicole's friendship. Lucas made a play for Sami, but she insisted that she would win E.J. back. Someone kidnapped Sami. Jack accused Gwen of drug dealing with Snyder, but Xander shifted the blame to himself.

Lenny returned home to await the results of his biopsy, but he passed away peacefully watching the sunset outside the Tan-O. "Mike" and Nina grew closer as they vowed to live in the moment. After a talk with Naomi about Hayden, Sam realized that Naomi had intentionally misspoken Hayden's middle name. Naomi confronted a mysterious stranger about ending their association. Shawn and Sam found Naomi dead in her hotel room. Nikolas caught Spencer in a lie that led Nikolas to believe that Spencer was Ava's stalker. Josslyn offered Trina some advice about Spencer. Spencer decided to throw a party at Wyndemere. Ned warned the family that Tracy had reason to believe that, shortly before his death, Edward had intended to amend his will to include Jimmy Lee. Austin persuaded Chase to settle the score with Michael by helping Austin find proof that Austin was a rightful Quartermaine heir. Willow told Michael that she intended to tell Chase the truth as soon as Chase was able to take a few steps.

Ashland started chemotherapy. Victor confronted Ashland with his suspicions that Ashland was faking his illness to one day take over Newman-Locke. Chloe befriended Sally and offered her a role with Newman Media's fashion platform despite her misdeeds. Moses decided to shift his focus from medicine to music. Nick walked in on Moses and Faith's first kiss. Amanda and Naya reconciled. Adam shot down Chelsea's plans to spend family time with Connor together and made it clear that they'd be moving on separately. Devon was surprised to hear that Nate had been named chief of surgery when Stitch was supposedly moving back to town to assume the position. Rey launched an official police investigation into Mariah's disappearance and found out that her credit cards and bank accounts hadn't been used.
