A family dinner at Thomas' place became awkward when Thomas broached the topic of a future and family together with Hope. He claimed he hadn't meant it that way, but Hope rushed off without having dessert. Thomas had a psychotic break and kissed the mannequin. Liam witnessed the kiss but mistook the mannequin for Hope. The mannequin tried to maintain its psychological grip on Thomas; however, he asserted that it wasn't real, and he didn't want to be obsessed with Hope anymore.

Jan forced Shawn to marry her. Brady sneaked out of the wedding to rescue Belle. Jan proclaimed she had killed Belle, so John strangled Jan into unconsciousness. Eli arrested John. Shawn believed Philip had helped Jan, and he found Belle safe in Philip's bed. Kristen urged Lani to forgive Eli. Julie advised Eli to remember that marriage was a partnership. Charlie and Claire shared a kiss. Sarah and Xander discovered Ava's fake name. Rafe and Gabi returned to Salem. Jack apologized to Abigail. Jennifer told Julie that she could not forgive Jack's lie, even if she understood why he had cheated on her. Gabi saw Jake and Kate in bed together.

At Cyrus' order, Julian planted a bomb at the Floating Rib. Several were injured in the blast, and the popular bar was left in ruins. Dev and Dustin succumbed to their injuries. Lulu collapsed from a head injury just as she told Dante that she loved him. After emergency surgery, Lulu fell into a coma. Sam and Diane were forced to leave Alexis' intervention when word of the explosion reached them. Sam breathed a sigh of relief that Jason and Danny had left the bar prior to the bomb detonating. Britt told Sonny and Jason that Julian had known for months about Nelle and Brad switching babies. Julian turned to Ava for help. Ava was furious with Julian, but she urged him to leave town and not look back. Franco suffered a life-threatening head injury that required surgery with an uncertain future. Laura confided to Sonny about Cyrus' interest in the murder of David Hamilton -- and her role in David's death.

Adam continued to resist therapy. Chelsea was furious when she learned that Victor and Sharon had had Adam committed. Victor refused to divulge Adam's whereabouts to Chelsea. Sally found out from Kyle that Summer was Lauren's top pick to head up JCV, and she was irritated that Theo hadn't already relayed the information as part of their deal. The Abbotts learned that Theo was suing for Dina's entire estate. Sally agreed to provide intel to Theo about the Abbotts' reaction to his lawsuit, but she instead told Jack about Theo's request and offered to pass along false information. Mariah accepted Kyle's offer to take over Summer's marketing position at Jabot. Ballistics proved that Billy's gun had fired the bullet that had struck Chance. Lily and Victoria vehemently defended Billy. Rey became suspicious when Victoria avoided his questions about whether Billy had confronted Adam after the break-in at her house. Billy invited Lily on a romantic date. Devon became ordained as a minister so he could preside over Chance and Abby's wedding. Amanda showed up at Elena's apartment on Thanksgiving so Elena wouldn't have to be alone. Devon and Nate caved in to Lily's request that they spend the holiday as a family, but the men weren't ready to reconcile. Sharon blew up at Nick after Phyllis, unaware that Nick hadn't told Sharon, mentioned Faith's drinking. Summer showed up in Kyle's room after he slipped her his room key during the Abbotts' Thanksgiving dinner.
