When Eric told Shauna and Quinn that Ridge was trying to get back together with Brooke, Quinn told Bill about Ridge's new marriage and urged Bill to profess his love for Brooke before Ridge talked her into returning to him. Sonny asked Will to move with him to Phoenix, but Gabi refused to let them take Arianna with them. Ben behaved erratically as he fought against Vincent's subconscious conditioning. Vincent administered the final serum dose to Ben so that he would kill Ciara on the anniversary of Paige's death. Jake reveled in his success at DiMera. Chad helped Gwen make Jake jealous, and he used their fake affair as leverage against Jake for control of the DiMera business.

Peter learned that he was going to be a father when Maxie spoke about her pregnancy during a hot mic moment. Partygoers were shocked that Ava's portrait had been vandalized and sported Franco's infamous CO77X tag. Ava overheard Lulu tell Dustin that Nikolas and Spencer were plotting against Ava. Liz eavesdropped as Ava confided to Nina about Nikolas and Spencer's plot. Robert told Olivia that he had found a way for her to visit with Dante. Sam ran interference for Molly when T.J. met Brando. Lulu walked in on Brook Lynn kissing Dustin, but he rebuffed Brook Lynn's advances and made it clear that he was happy with Lulu. Nelle blackmailed Julian into helping her abduct Wiley. After eavesdropping on Nelle's incriminating phone call with Julian, Brook Lynn confronted Nelle, but Nelle attacked Brook Lynn with a pair of shears. Julian had a change of heart when he rendezvoused with Nelle.

Lola confided to Theo that her plans to open a Miami restaurant had fallen through, but she looked forward to focusing on new dreams in Genoa City. Amanda assuaged Billy's doubts about hiring Theo, and Billy extended a job offer to Theo. Lola and Theo scrapped their trip to New York in favor of a simple date. Kyle assured Nick that Summer was the only woman in his heart. Nick set up a perfect day for Phyllis to rest and relax, which inspired her idea to start an "escape club" for women at the Grand Phoenix. Victoria publicly announced her intention to divest certain Newman properties, including selling Newman Cosmetics to Jabot and Newman's media division to Chancellor Communications. Nikki accepted Victoria's offer to become Newman's COO. Victor warned Nikki that she'd eventually have to choose sides. The Abbotts were touched when they watched a heartwarming home movie of John telling Dina and baby Jack that family was all that mattered.
