Katie told Donna that Katie and Brooke would eventually work things out as sisters, but Katie wasn't so sure the same would happen between her and Bill. Bill refused to lose Katie and asked her to at least keep the door open to communication. After reading Sally's medical file, Flo tossed a fake snake in front of Sally, and Sally jumped all over the room in terror. Sally confessed that she was faking her illness, but before Flo could contact Wyatt about it, Penny knocked Flo out, and Penny and Sally scrambled to dispose of the unconscious Flo.

Rafe asked Justin to fast-track his adoption of David, but Zoey countersued for custody of her nephew. Orpheus antagonized Marlena. Steve urged Kayla to choose Justin, and she did. Anna and Tony said goodbye. Sarah kidnapped Rachel and ran off to Paris. Xander pleaded with Sarah to let him help her, but she refused. Victor asked Will and Sonny not to tell Maggie about her granddaughter. Li Shin named Chad as CEO of DiMera, and he removed Gabi from overseeing Gabi Chic. Gabi saw Stefan's reflection in the square. A furious Kristen stabbed Victor in retaliation for masterminding the baby switch. Victor survived his attack but clung to life in the hospital. Abigail had a hallucination about Ben. Ben found a mechanic that looked exactly like Stefan.

Valentin questioned Charlotte about the snake in Ava's purse because he knew that Charlotte had purchased a harmless snake from a reptile store using his credit card. Charlotte explained that she knew Ava was the enemy because she had seen Valentin shove Ava off the parapet. Charlotte was angry and blamed several people, including Lulu, for standing in the way of Charlotte returning to Wyndemere and being a family with Valentin and Nina. A heartbroken Valentin asked Laura to be a guiding force in his daughter's life because he didn't intend to fight Lulu for custody. Robert caught Spinelli breaking into Maxie's apartment. Spinelli persuaded Robert to join forces to take Peter down. Robert received the crushing news that Holly Sutton had died. Chase and Sasha set a plan into motion, designed to send Willow into Michael's arms. Nelle overheard Willow confide to Nina that Chase and Sasha had been having an affair. Sonny was faced with the harsh reality that the end was near for Mike. Cyrus introduced himself to Julian. Jordan worried that T.J. might remember something that would link his abduction to Cyrus. Molly bumped into Brando at Charlie's. Sam was not impressed with Brando. Alexis told Sam and Diane about her night of passion with Neil and lying to the medical review board, which had led to Alexis' relapse and Julian's public confrontation with Neil at the hospital.

Theo presented his pitch to rebrand Jabot, unaware that Kyle and Summer had set him up. Jack was livid when Theo attempted to pass off one of Jack's old ideas as his own. Jack supported Kyle's decision to fire Theo. Kyle later had mixed feelings about firing his former friend. Amanda accepted Lily's job offer. Mariah agreed to be named the primary decisionmaker in Sharon's healthcare proxy. Mariah and Theo had a surprising heart-to-heart about caring for an ill parent. Theo eavesdropped on Billy, Lily, and Amanda's conversation about their plans for Chancellor's media division. Nikki blabbed the truth about A.J.'s death to Victoria. Victoria baited Adam into confronting Victor, who revealed that an eleven-year-old Adam had killed A.J. to protect Hope. Adam had no memory of the incident and blasted Victor for twisting the facts to save himself. Victoria appealed to Alyssa to publish the true story, but Alyssa refused to have anything to do with the Newmans and left town. Victor removed Adam as CEO. Victor lashed out at Nikki for violating his confidence by disclosing his secret to Victoria. Victor reinstated Victoria at Newman but told her that she'd lost his respect. Victoria flatly informed Victor that she could live with that, leaving him devastated. Chelsea threw a baby shower for Chloe. Chelsea happily accepted Chloe's request that Chelsea be the baby's godmother.
