Steffy was disgusted with Liam for betraying their wedding vows by kissing Sally. Bill found Steffy at the Forrester guesthouse, and as he tried to comfort her, they two wound up falling into bed with each other. Steffy returned home and sobbed to Liam about how sorry she was. She wanted to tell Liam what she'd done, but Liam had planned a vow-renewal ceremony for them and promised they could have a clean slate. Steffy decided that renewing their vows would mean that what had happened prior no longer mattered. As Steffy recommitted to Liam, Bill was planning a getaway for himself and her on the Stella Maris.

After a fight with Theo, Claire and Tripp grew closer and almost kissed. J.J. shot Theo, who was rushed into surgery. Complications during the surgery caused a stroke, and Theo was in a coma. J.J. tortured himself over the shooting, and he told Abigail that he believed he had seen Theo's face before he had pulled the trigger. Abe blamed J.J. and the DiMeras for the shooting. Abe lashed out at Jennifer, and Eric comforted her. An upset Claire fainted twice. Tripp discovered Theo's phone. Worried about evidence, Kate blackmailed Tripp to give her Theo's phone by threatening Kayla's job. Hope suspended J.J. and ordered him not to have contact with Theo. In Memphis, Will told Sonny, Sami, and Rafe that he was Susan's son, E.J. Will was reluctant to believe anyone but Susan. Sami punched Susan, and Susan attempted to leave town with Will while Sami was in jail. Sonny hoped to reconcile with Will. Paul worried that Sonny would never forgive him. Sami stopped Susan before she could leave town with Will.

Jordan asked Curtis to help track down Andre. Franco confessed to Ava that he was afraid of losing Elizabeth to one of the two Jasons. Ava asked Griffin to finish Dr. Klein's work, but he refused because it was too risky. Ava searched for an "unethical" doctor online. Patient 6 learned the truth about Ava's role in Morgan's death. Monica paid Patient 6 a visit and quickly realized that he was the Jason that she had raised. Patient 6 went to the footbridge and ran into Robin. Robin was uncertain if Patient 6 was Jason until he expressed himself in a way that only Jason would. Oscar's mother accepted Carly's invitation to Thanksgiving dinner. Josslyn and Oscar's search for his father led them to a war hero from Iowa. Nelle went to the Invader and traded Amy and Nathan's secret for a considerable sum of money. The editor warned Nelle that she had likely doomed both the blog and Crimson, as well as careers, but Nelle was unrepentant. Maxie took a home pregnancy test, but she didn't have a chance to share the results with Nathan because the story about his deception hit the Internet. Valentin told Nina the truth about Cassandra's intentions and his agreement to help Anna take her down. Alexis blackmailed her brother into forcing Olivia Jerome to clear Julian's name.

Zack drove off with Abby and tried to convince her that he'd done nothing wrong, but she blasted him for pimping out women. Scott traced them to a storage facility, where Zack locked Scott and Abby in a storage locker. Scott and Abby comforted one another and had sex. Sharon realized that her feelings for Scott were deeper than she'd thought. Victor and Jack worked together to offer a reward for Abby's safe return. Dina was discovered along the highway and later revealed that she'd hidden in the back seat of Zack's car. Dina provided a tip that led Paul and Sharon to the storage facility, but Scott and Abby had already escaped. Scott and Abby tracked Zack to a hotel, where Zack pulled a gun on them. Abby proposed that she and Zack run off together, but he realized that Scott and Abby had had sex, and a gunshot went off. Ashley and Jack were devastated when they realized that Dina suffered from Alzheimer's. The FBI froze Newman's assets. Victoria released a statement to the press, blaming Abby for the sex ring scandal. Billy rented the apartment next to Phyllis'. Nick learned that the insurance company was refusing to pay his claim because they suspected that he had started the fire. Hilary exposed Jordan's past as a con artist who'd scammed wealthy older women out of their money. The exposé ended up revealing that Chelsea had been Jordan's partner in crime, leading to a rift between Chelsea and Nick.
