Daniel seemed conflicted about the news that Maggie was his biological mother, but agreed to a DNA test. Abigail gave Chad the cold shoulder after his so-called forbidden kiss with Melanie. Bo and Hope found a baby picture in Alice's belongings that Hope recognized, but that she could not place. E.J. tried to work Nicole, but she set boundaries. Will, Chad and Sonny were shocked to discover that someone had hacked into their website to set up an illegal high-stakes gambling ring. While preparing for Maggie and Victor's wedding, Bo and Hope reminisced about their past weddings and proclaimed their undying love for each other. Jennifer accepted Abe's offer to become the publicist for his campaign. Madison told Sami to stay out of her personal life. Carrie returned from Switzerland with good news for John, and offered Rafe a job as the lead investigator for his case. Austin and Sami were furious that Carrie and Rafe would be working together on John's case, but they agreed to not let it affect their marriages. John told Marlena that he had memories that he could not explain that might be damaging to his court case. Marlena's belief in John's innocence was so strong that she convinced him to undergo hypnosis to prove it. Before agreeing to go on their ski date, Jennifer asked Jack if he was spying on her and Daniel at the Halloween celebration at Horton Square. Jack convinced her that he had been visiting J.J.in London, and that the "new" Jack would never lie to her again. Rafe suggested that Jack seek counseling to help him readjust to life after his hostage crisis, but Jack insisted that he was fine. Later, Jack had a meltdown while on a date with Jennifer after recalling flashbacks of being beaten and tortured when he was held hostage in Afghanistan.
A mysterious clown shadowed many of the passengers from the chartered boat after Lisa disappeared. Elizabeth's health continued to decline after she suffered hypothermia. Lucky arrived in Ireland to follow Siobhan's final wishes. Strange things began to occur while Lucky was at St. Margaret's Chapel. Franco kidnapped Jason. Jason was horrified as he was forced to watch Franco on a television screen slip into the bathroom in the bungalow, while Sam showered. Johnny blackmailed Steve into treating Anthony for the infection that Anthony had developed from the rusty nail that Lisa had attacked Anthony with. Johnny reminded Anthony that it was the two-year anniversary of Claudia's death, but Anthony warned Johnny that Johnny hadn't known the real Claudia. Olivia continued to suffer bouts of lightheadedness, so Lulu suggested that Olivia might be pregnant. Sonny hosted a family dinner to bid farewell to Kristina before she left for Yale. Ethan gave Kristina a friendship bracelet as a going away present, but Kristina vowed that she would always wait for Ethan. Alexis was shocked when Diane announced her decision to pursue a career in journalism as a gossip columnist. Diane encouraged Alexis to take over as Sonny's attorney. Luke warned Ethan to stay away from Wyndemere, but Ethan was repeatedly drawn to the castle, where mysterious lights and movements haunted the place. Carly became jealous when she spotted Shawn out at Jake's with a dancer at Vaughn's. Carly decided to kiss Johnny to pay Shawn back, but Sonny walked in.

Nora advised Destiny not to give up on going to college, because it would provide a better future for the baby. Blair explained to Sam that Todd was Victor's brother, and, therefore, Sam's uncle. Sam seemed to take the news in stride. Todd continued to be haunted by Irene, who took pleasure in reminding Todd of what he had done to Victor. Irene taunted Todd that Blair would never return Todd's love. Todd was surprised when Louie showed up at the Sun, with a story about how Louie had managed to outwit Irene. Ford and Clint forged a truce for the sake of Jessica and Ryder. Viki was proud of Clint's efforts to make peace with Ford, Rex, and Brody. Kim's friend was rattled when she met Shane, so she later decided that the only way to move forward was to "undo" her plastic surgery, so that she could return to looking like Stacy. Cord was stunned when Viki informed him that Irene had left everything, including Victor's estate, to Tina, but Tina had handed it over to Todd. Tina explained that all she wanted was Cord. Tomas promised his sister that he would find Victor's killer. Tomas pointed out that Todd did not have an alibi for the night of Victor's murder. Téa realized that she might be pregnant, so she took a home pregnancy test. Roxy reminded John that he was running out of time to tell Natalie how he truly felt. Jessica was determined to tell Natalie the truth about Liam's paternity, so she sought her sister out.

What happened during the week of
On Halloween, Billy donned a Santa Claus costume to visit Delia in the hospital. Later, Billy gave a drunken Victoria a goodnight kiss. Phyllis stole Ricky's photos of Adam and Heather kissing from Avery's desk, then published them on the web. The judge learned that Ronan and Phyllis had found the memory card proving that Sharon had tried to save Skye from falling into the volcano. Sharon was exonerated and set free. Heather was fired from the district attorney's office and decided to leave town. Paul was shocked that Ricky had taken the pictures that destroyed Heather's career. With Nick's okay, Sharon took Faith on a trip out of Genoa City. Phyllis was unapologetic about publishing Ricky's photos without permission. Kevin agreed to Chloe's plan to have a Christmas wedding. Ricky agreed with Avery to sue
Restless Style over the photographs. Angelo's wannabe singer daughter, Angelina, sang at the Halloween party. Billy asked Cane to find the woman from Myanmar who could clear his name because he was an innocent man. Nick pleaded with Avery to drop the suit. Phyllis and Ronan were drawn to each other. Avery and Nick made love. Victor hired Adam in order to keep tabs on him. Sharon took Faith to Sam's ranch in New Mexico.
