First came the news that Emmy-winning soap vet Jordi Vilasuso (ex-Rey Rosales, The Young and the Restless) would be joining the cast of The Bay. Now comes word that three more well-known actors will also be appearing in the ninth season of this digital soap opera.
Dee Wallace, Olivia D'Abo, and Tristan Mack Wilds are all ready to take their turn on the Emmy-winning series you can stream on Amazon, Peacock, and the Roku Channel.
Wallace will play Charlotte Grace, the sister of the character played by the late Jacklyn Zeman, who brought Sofia Madison to life in previous seasons. Wallace even played Zeman's sister on General Hospital when she made a guest-star appearance for a handful of episodes as Pat Spencer in 2015, Luke and Bobbie's never-before-seen sister. Wallace's late husband, Christopher Stone, once played Bill Horton on Days of our Lives.
Olivia D'Abo will make her The Bay debut as Felicia "Fifi" Garrett-Martin, the daughter of GH star Tristan Rogers' character, Lex Martin. D'Abo is best known for her turn as Kevin Arnold's sister, Karen Arnold, on the ABC series The Wonder Years.
Mack Wilds will be taking over the role of Will Campbell, who was last seen in season 3, played by Derrell Whitt. Mack Wilds is best known for playing Dixon on the primetime series 90210.
The Bay premiered in 2010, and its cast past and present reads like a who's who of daytime actors. Some of the well-known soap names you can find on the show include Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Johnson, DAYS), A Martinez (ex-Cruz Castillo, Santa Barbara; ex-Eduardo Hernandez, DAYS), Ronn Moss (ex-Ridge Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful), Matthew Ashford (Jack Deveraux, DAYS), Brandon Beemer (Shawn-Douglas Brady, DAYS), Martha Madison (Belle Black Brady, DAYS), and Charles Shaughnessy (ex-Shane Donovan, DAYS; ex-Victor Cassadine, GH).
