The RIDE Foundation has chosen Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott, The Young and the Restless) as the recipient of this year's Artistic Integrity Award, while Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain, General Hospital) will receive this year's Vanguard Award.

Congratulations are in order for daytime stars Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott, The Young and the Restless; ex-Kristen DiMera, Days of our Lives) and Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain, General Hospital; ex-Ryan Lavery, All My Children), who will both be honored at the third annual RIDE Foundation gala, set to take place on Saturday, June 18.

This year's event, titled "Dance to End Hunger," will benefit the Share Our Strength organization's No Kid Hungry campaign and its fight to end childhood hunger in the US. The festivities will see Davidson take home an Artistic Integrity Award, while Mathison will receive the Vanguard Award. Each of the awards are given to honor individuals in the public eye who use their platform to create positive changes in the community.

The gala will be held at the City Market Social House in Downtown Los Angeles and will be hosted by The Office star Kate Flannery. Dancing with the Stars' Pasha Pashkov and Daniella Karagach, as well as World of Dance partners Karen and Ricardo, are set to headline the live dance portion of the benefit.

Created in 2016 by Pro-Am ballroom dance partners Robyn Shreiber and Italo Elgueta, RIDE (Robyn & Italo Dance Events) is a one-of-a-kind dance event held to celebrate charities that make a difference.

"We are thrilled to designate No Kid Hungry as the beneficiary of our annual gala event," said Shreiber and Elgueta in a joint statement. "We have learned so much from the team about food insecurity in the US, and the children and families who benefit from their programs. We have seen firsthand their impact on our community through their school breakfast program, which is one of many ways they act and advocate to end child hunger... Unfortunately, the pandemic has exacerbated this crisis and now more than ever, we must support the campaign's work."

Christina Donatelli Stodder, California Director of Development for Share Our Strength, added, "[One] in 6 kids in the United States, or about 12 million children, face hunger. We are grateful for partners like RIDE who understand the importance of ensuring all children have access to three healthy meals a day."
