Have mercy! Two more daytime stars have joined the popular Netflix spinoff series Fuller House.
The Tanner family is back for season two of the hit show based upon the 1980s classic sitcom Full House, and viewers finally get the chance to meet Uncle Joey's [Dave Coulier] family. The moment may cause heads to tilt for two reasons: 1) nobody ever thought a guy who carries a puppet and makes woodchuck jokes would ever land a wife and 2) a couple of Joey's clan look super familiar -- as they should, because they're daytime stars.
Joey's wife, Ginger Gladstone, is portrayed by former Guiding Light star Laura Bell Bundy, who played Marah Lewis from 2000 to 2001. And one of his kids, Joan Gladstone, is portrayed by child actress Kingston Foster, who appeared on Days of our Lives earlier this year as Heather.
Oh, and just so we're not accused of playing favorites, Joey's other kids are played by Noah Salsbury Lipson, Finn Carr, and Ruby Rose Turner.
Fuller House stars original actors Candice Cameron Burre, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Dave Coulier, Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin, and John Stamos (ex-Blackie, General Hospital) along with daytime stars John Brotherton (ex-Jared Banks, One Life to Live) and Eva La Rue (ex-Maria Santos, All My Children).
